think that a bit harsh for Button, he is No.1 there, can't see him pushing for 1st place here anyway .. and when Gomes is fit, he will be 3rd choice.

i would give him a start vs Doncaster.

Gomes update



An MRI scan today (Thursday) has confirmed that Heurelho Gomes has suffered a groin injury.
The Brazil international goalkeeper sustained the injury in the first half of last night's win at Hull City.
David Button has been recalled from his loan with Crewe Alexandra as cover. The 20-year-old goalkeeper made three appearances for Gudjon Thordarson's side, recording two clean sheets.

Gone on loan to Norwich i believe, i think it's a loan anyway.

As said in this thread, Button was getting games at Crewe but is Alnwick at Norwich who also bought in a new first choice goalkeeper during the summer?

You're judging him after two games? He was shit against Burnley, but to be fair most player were. He did ok against Man U in the FA Cup game though.

i don't think we'll end up having to use him though, i can't see cudicini picking up an injury while gomes is out for a while
