So basically your point is Levy has to pump in more money? Sess, NDombele, Lo Celso , Bergwyn etc not good enough to start with in your view? Toby signing? Do we have a Coutinho lottery win which we can use to pump in more cash? Kane to Madrid?

What would be your proposed solution?

Toby signing....please he shopped himself around all of Europe and when he couldn't get the wedge took a deal he'd turned down ages ago. Love the guys performances for us but don't pretend that we were his first choice to see out his career.
As for cash....if the BsofL would look at the public data you'll note that the stadium "bond" deal has the repayment down to circa 40 million which Levy could get for the stadium naming rights + shirt deals let alone Prem TV rights etc etc.

I share your comment concerns
I know we say it every summer but this summer really is massive now. We’re in danger of slipping way back from where we are and we simply have to address the squad imbalances we’ve caused. I don’t think Jose is the right fit but he will I’m sure be given more time so the key here is to go back to the model of signing young promising players some of whom can make an impact pretty soon or straight away like Bergweign did or like someone such as Grealish would’ve.

Poch built us from 5/6th best team who were getting beat 5,6-0 most times we came up against Man.City it Liverpool etc and he turned us into the 2nd best team in the country during the time he was our manager, we became a team and club others respected, feared and were jealous of. We made it to the pinnacle CL final and ok we lost but we had a chance to kick on and continue the momentum but recruitment wasn’t good enough in summer to make up for previous windows and we are suffering now.

Meanwhile the likes of Wolves, Leicester, Man.U, Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton heck even Sheffield United etc have all become better than us or are quietly re-building whilst we are fucking going backwards. Levy simply must address this slide this summer but recruiting the key areas and that means £200m spend on 5-6 top players, no messing around no excuses, we have the funds to do it now is the time. If we don’t, we will go further back but his comments are seriously seriously worrying and show that simply the fans are not the priority and nor is on the pitch success.

I hope I’m wrong but we’ve been burnt far far too many times now to expect anything else.

I wonder what it will take for ENIC to change their ways or to start getting some real heat from the fans...

All I want from the club is honesty! Which trust me is not the case, as I sense there is a slight different agenda geared commercially to grow the club. I don’t expect us to spend 150m every year. But I sure expect us to be picking up bright young talent on 100m budget. I refuse to accept we cannot do that. And the way DL drums up ‘net income’ does my friggin head in. We deserve better with the prices we charge to watch our matches £56-102. I am told averages £77 per game.

Agree, this summer is massive but the latest comments from Levy in the THST meeting are very concerning and depressing.
Especially given the previous narrative of not relying on top 4 / CL. If we couldn't grow the squad with it, we're definitely gonna struggle without it.

Stuck my ticket on ticket exchange. Between Coronavirus and Mourinho writing off the season, for the first time in over 20 years I just can’t be arsed. Whoever gets my seat, enjoy as much as you can and don’t cough on the bloke to your left.
