This has echoes of George Graham away to Ipswich

Was that the game where he came out afterwards and said in so many words that as long as you performed ok at home it didn’t matter that much if you were a shit show away?

We are we still playing five at the back? He can sit there all he wants but this formation has never worked for us in the last three years.

He wasnt even rated that's the thing.

United fans were utterly miserable with this bloke at the helm.
I'm thinking more about the media hype, but yeah total waste of time and money - we should cut our losses with him, he's a bloody liability. For a manager that has a good defensive record it's diabolical!

Dele needs to use his body to shield the ball but he's not fully committing to those individual battles.
Yep. I often think Dele is unfairly slagged off but he’s a massive wimp as a player. Needs to be so much stronger

Everything is just too easy for burnley, probably one of the easiest games they have had this season

If you’re going to play with wingbacks, they need to be able to join the attack. Tanganga is a pure defender and Jan is too slow to join the attack. We have Gedson/Aurier and Sessegnon on the bench who can all attack more effectively from those positions.

I get we’ve got players with fatigue and a pending defeat against Leipzig but what on Earth is JM thinking by playing 4 centre backs and 2 defensive players as our central midfield. A disaster from the moment the team was selected

almost as of that’s all he has, lo celso looked ducked against Norwich, and he had a niggle like winks did

One thing I did like about Jose initially was changing things in the first half even. We will continue to play like this and come out with no changes in the second half. I respect that his choices are limited overall but when what is on the pitch is so bad it would be nice to see him try and change things even just for the sake of change.

We don't look like we can create a single thing out there on the pitch unless it's by pure chance or utter brilliance from someone. There's no attacking patterns of play whatsoever.

It's more like a flat back 5 tbh.

Getting very hard to defend Jose to be honest. Even when it was clear AVB was a fraud, you could still forgive him for at least being out of his depth. This is Jose Mourinho, one of the worlds best, selecting a side with 5 centre backs, against one of the worst teams in the league. I’d rather we selected the entire fucking U18 side with players that at least know a position, this is the most fucking embarrassing situation and it’s all down to Jose. I don’t even care if we turn this around and win, we’re a busted flush.
