How can we be simultaneously out numbered in every 3rd of the pitch? Wood and Rodriguez have won everything, they're dominating in midfield and we could play until next year and not score.

We look terrified whenever a ball is put in the box

Surely a decent coach would be able to get us looking organised after 5 months. Our players look utterly clueless, game after game. I am slowly coming to the conclusion that Jose isn't the right man for a situation like this.

He is a decent coach, obviously, being one of the most successful of all time.

What he might not be is the right man to pick up a club in crisis, with a playing staff fundamentally disconnected from any sense of purpose or confidence.

The problem, as was widely noted before Poch went, is far deeper rooted than the manager.

Players look dead on their feet.
Compared to anyone we face where they seem to have a spring in their step and and extra yard (or more) on our players.

I'm sure it's not just 1 reason, but burn out (we won't fix that this season) and low confidence because of the rut we are in.

Holy shite. Just turned it on. Have we really 5 centre backs playing right now??? Doesn't matter if they aren't all playing centre back, that is the mentality they have played as in their development. No wonder we can't put a good attack together.

So fed up with Lloris already. Can't believe I actually missed him for a few days after seeing Vorm play.

They are all the same players Jose took over bar Gedson and Berjgwijn .... Same problems exist in the squad with injurys to probably Spurs most key players in the last two seasons ... Chicken salad with chicken shit.

Tell me one thing ndombele has done in this game.
I think we generally agree. We need some new players, that's clear. I just think we should be seeing signs of improvement through coaching. Just my opinion.

We played exactly the same when Kane and Son were fit and played. So tired of reading this sentiment all the time.

That’s demonstrably untrue. We played fast positive football for the first few games under Mourinho things started to go to shit over Christmas when all the fatigue and injuries set in. We haven’t won without Kane, Son or Eriksen in the team since 2014 or something ridiculous. This team has lost 4 ever present players who have been absolutely key to the way we play for the last few years it’s no wonder we look shite.

That’s before we even consider the cumulative fatigue the likes of Moura, Dele, Bergwijn, Toby, Jan and Lamela must be suffering from. We are literally running on fumes.

There are more than enough mitigating circumstances to understand why we are so poor.

Some people are just desperate to stick the boot into Mourinho.

Can anyone honestly see us winning another game this season? There is nothing positive about our football and we aren’t even good enough to play for a 0-0. I guess the return of Kane and maybe son will inspire towards mid end April but right now this team is not good enough to beat anyone...wow.

I know how important Son and Kane are, but this isn’t like we are able to control a game against a lower (not for long) team but not put away chances.
We aren’t getting to the final third and then struggling to find someone to apply the finish.
We don’t keep the ball, we don’t create, we don’t have any real positive effect on a game other than our standard 25minute spell where we wake up. Still waiting for that today.

He's playing out of position for a shit manager that has them playing like a deadbeat Newcastle side managed by Allardyce, surrounded by teammates that are highly mediocre. What do you expect him to do? Turn in to prime Ronaldinho and take Burnley on himself?
I'm sorry playing out position does not affect the basics like controlling a football and passing a ball. You are just make excuses for a player you have a blind love for.
