Well it’s true isn’t it?
Only a world class numpty wouldn’t be able to have noticed it’s happened quite a few times before
I'll return your dummy to you when I find it.

Meanwhile, the team has done magnificently well to stay in the conversation for as long as they have, doubly so when you consider that all of you were writing them off and having exactly the same hissyfits after the Wolves game, again after the United game and then again when Kane got injured and then again actually DURING games where we scored late, late winners. Bottle, bottle bottle, you can't wait to use it. It's lazy and it's pathetic.

When exactly did we bottle it? After Wolves, during a couple of games after 80 minutes? Today?, or if we lose another game?

Jesus fucking christ. It's like mothercare on acid around here when the bad news hits.

Gutted.

We went attacking with the subs but we lost all ability to retain the ball after we equalised.

Oh well, that’s the title race dusted now.

Onto Chelsea and Arsenal. Win both and Top 4 is ours.

Maybe. Hindsight is a beautiful thing though

Been here before though haven't we? Throw Foyth into a critical game. I don't blame Foyth. He needs a run of games to show us what he can do. So unless Poch now intends to pick Foyth for the next few games, irrespective of how he performs, then throwing him into a game Poch described as a cup final and physical was a very odd decision.

The referee wasn't to blame today, we let ourselves down with numerous poor individual performances. We can't blame fatigue either - it's just a bad day at the office. As someone rightly mentioned, this has been coming following a number of games where we won but didn't deserve to.

Hope Poch doesn't blame this fully on the ref in his interview. For years we've praised his class when handling these situations and rightly castigated others (Mourinho, Wenger, Klopp etc) when they've gone the other way.

I love Poch but he was out of order there. Take it out on players at they were shite today.
I think that's vent up frustration from plenty of previous games.

Dean really is a vastly incompetent ref who thinks its all about him. You only have to look at what he did with Aguero the other week.

We need a massive response Wednesday now.

And can ppl please stop talking about "if we do this and do that we'll be top" I want to see evidence first.

No! How many times do we have to talk about defensive mistakes from Aurier and Foyth?

Without their mistakes we’d be on our way home with a 1-0. Not still sat in our seats thinking so close, another chance gone. They are not top four quality. Foyth maybe one day but right now they’re costing us.

Fuck me some of you. Stop with the bottle jobs shit.

We had a tough, similar game scheduled against Newcastle, we won it.

We had another similar game against Leicester, we won it.

We beat Fulham in the last minute.

We are anything but ‘bottle jobs’ this year. You would think we were ten points clear at the top and have been reeled back in. The narrative is bullshit. Yes we lost, yes we were poor, but nothing had been bottled.

We played a tough, gritty, anti football team who will always take points off the better footballing sides. It happens. We’ve lost seven games this season, and yet we are still within five points of the top which shows you how well we have recovered from all our setbacks.

Do you think City fans refer to their team as bottle jobs when they lose to Palace? Or when United were held by Burnley were their fans saying they were bottle jobs?

It’s fuckig irritating, the amount of people that say the press are mean and nasty and unfair and then play right into their hands with comments like that. It’s pathetic.

Honestly this 3 at the back can be so dog shit.

I think Poch now has comfort watching us play as such, instead of thinking we need to have better flow and quickness of passing about our game which we lack too much of when playing in that system.

The only reason why I thought we might win when watching that match is because we've done it so many times when playing like so, but the truth is that the football was absolutely rubbish. I would have loved to have seen some better movement, quick passing, one-two's and better link up play in that final third but everything was so congested in the middle, with the only players afforded space in our wingbacks unable to do anything.

I really do think we're too content with playing like that sometimes. We've gotten away with it numerous times, but so often the half time whistle blows and it's been a half of nothingness. Poch should be laying into them at HT after seeing such a performance and really changing things around but like said, we are content to play this way even if it's glaringly lacklustre.

We deserved to lose, so he's barking up the wrong tree if he thinks the ref cost us today.
Don’t think Dean done much wrong besides any time we got physical it was a foul but not Burnley but we didn’t play well full stop

If anyone said Poch has been soft, today showed he's not. But when he did something so manly, there were calls of him not managing the game well from the start or losing the tactical battle etc and taking the piss at ref instead of his players..

Good grief.

Why is Alex Scott on tele, token female.

Anyone that disagrees with this is a joke.

She never gives any decent insight, just rolls out the same clichés and waffles on about rubbish.

I get the need for female pundits but surely it’s worth actually using someone that has a clue.

Can’t help but respect them for what they’ve accomplished given their means, but I always dread playing them, as they usually make it quite difficult for us with their manner of defending.

They were clever today in using constant little fouls as a means of stopping any momentum. It's one of the flaws of the game that essentially cheating can be a 'tactic'.

Dean did nothing to stop it from happening too...

Just wanted to say, I hope to not see blames on Poch here. He made a tactical gamble, and he lost his roll here. Had we found the winner ourselves, he’d be praised. For me, our players didn’t look up for it. Many a player got bullied around, and Eriksen (God knows I love ‘I’m) was painfully weak on the winner.

Furthermore, it’s my birthday so you cannot disagree with me ☺️

That's the key thing now. We lose both of those and all of a sudden it's top four squeaky bum time. But if we win both then top four is all but secured and the title isn't over. Liverpool and City will drop silly points before the season end.

But unfortunately we will too. 7 defeats already this year in the league and there are still 11 games to play (including City, Liverpool and Chelsea away). Not really the stuff of champions is it?

Good to see poch having a go at Dean. We've put up with so many years of shit decisions because he celebrated giving us an advantage. About time everyone else knew how anti tottenham he is
