They turned it back round and won, but Tuchel found out last season that Kim and Upamecano just doesn't work as a pair. Strange that Kompany isn't wise to that.

Dier had to come on for Kim to shore things up.

Kompany in general can be quite naive in how he sets out teams. Even if he knows how to set up a team to play a particular style.

He could be a success there but the bigger worries for Bayern is it's the same sort of problems theyve had for a few years now.

I don't know what their xG was at the end but it came up as 0.04 during the 2nd half iirc (against 0.95ish for Bayern) - not the game I was expecting from them at all.
