Reckon they have been rejected by a few and they were expecting at least one to be interested in the job.

Bayern are all over the place. Yesterday Tuchel was staying...

...and today...

For a club like Bayern you'd think Conte or Jose would actually be decent appointments so part of me thinks they're a bit short on cash and in need of a rebuild job.

Not too surprising why managers are avoiding it. Spend £200m replacing Neuer, Kimmich, Davies and Muller just to tread water against Alonso's Leverkusen who will surely improve further now they're in the CL.

The funny thing is Nagelsmann would have been the perfect coach for them now. But they brought him in 2 years too early.

Is Flick not an option for them?

Think Flick burned a lot of bridges with the experienced players in the disaster spell he has as Germany manager, no matter how well he did at Bayern.

Of course Bayern's problem is the experienced players have far too much power and influence and can go above the manager to the board like they did with Nagelsmann, but even if the idea is to curtail those players' power I don't see Flick as the right man for it.

Heidenheim finished 8th in their first ever Bundesliga season and will be in the Conference League if Leverkusen win the DFB Cup next week.

Strange move that.

If Bayern struggle next season, I think Kane may start to look over at the PL again, especially if we do well.

I wouldn't normally say that but Bayern are in a real weird situation where they don't have that mix of big players at their peak, solid squad players and prospects doing well.

I know Tel and Musiala are exceptional talents but I look at CB, CM and the wings and its not what they had before. Plus the likes of Neuer and Muller won't last much longer.

If Kane is having to drag young upcoming players across the line to finish 2nd or 3rd, he may start to feel he needs to move back.
