Spurs want talented Portuguese youngster Bubacar Djalo on the cheap.

The highly-rated holding midfielder plays for Sporting Lisbon’s U19 side.

But the 18-year-old is out of contract and available for minimal compensation.

Sounds like another Levy deal to me. Sporting will probably hate us after "stealing" Dier last season, but Portuguese sides rarely seem to sell for less than the release clause anyway so not much lost there.

I'll take snapping up more youth anytime.

As far as his play from statistics I can not find much that really jumps out. Scored against Schalke (which has a very strong academy) in the UEFA Youth Cup, but that's about it.

Roma are supposedly one the Serie A teams rumoured to be interested in him so this could be another Baldini link or more optimistically someone from Mitchell and co.

It says he's a holding CMF yet he's launched as the "new Pogba" on another site

There always a "Wizzkid" or the next "Zidane" the article never states the more likely truth. "We are pretending Tottenham are looking signing the one goal wonder Babacar whos out of contract soon so we are linking him with spurs in the vain hope he will get a shed load of cash, for me the agent and a fat contract somewhere, espically as the portugese pay crap wages", meanwhile the mirror are happy to print out crappy PR as they lack anyone who can do some proper reporting.

or although unlikely they could actually have done some research for once and this could be true.
