If we get lower fee, rather big sell-on clause very likely. Possible we could even get something out of that as Gil might actually do well there.

Hoping some kind of sell-on-clause is added incase he tears it up at Girona should a deal materialise.
Yep agree , if the reported maximum fee Girona want to pay is 6m euros, you'd like to think we'd add a pretty hefty sell on percentage and plenty of add ons.

I'm getting fed up of seeing all these foreign clubs telling us how much (or how little) they are going to pay for our players !

I mean, I don’t have much sympathy for Girona, given their ownership, but most of European football outside the PL is living paycheque to paycheque these days.

This might have something to do with Girona's interest in Gil

Appreciate this guy is a striker but they'll have money to boost their squad.

The part about "opportunities" worries me. We need to go out and get our top targets, or close to it, for the positions we need to strengthen up front.

Nothing less than that, if we actually want to compete at the top end of ths league.

And Gil will never succeed here so we should absolutely be selling him. Our forward options right now are nowhere near good enough, collectively.
Absolutely spot on

Get rid of this boy, whatever it takes. Free up his place and get someone else in that can help march us on to Glory!

This was Fabio's first signing wasn't it? Such a weird one for him considering how much he generally prioritises size and power in his targets.

Just had a skim of the first few pages. Everyone had such high hopes for this lad, but he’s been a complete nothing of a signing. Such a shame.

We absolutely overpaid but he's not a bad player. Once he gets consistent minutes somewhere I think he'll be considered like a 15-20 million player.

is it funny player? He links play really well create space but has no power in shooting or crossing which makes him incredibly wonder dimensional

Probably saw the technical ability and thought it worth the risk. Win some and lose some. I hope he goes and does well.
