If CE goes, which is almost nailed on, then I would be in favour of signing him.

Well seems clear, Jose isnt really playing him and follows his statement, if you wanna be here and be part f the team he would play him but obviously hes not. I hope we get rid of in Jan so we can get some money for him, Loved CE but he is a dick for leaving this way where we get no compensation whatsoever. I do feel Gio Lo Celso could do a great job potentially instead, plus he is stronger , tackles , tracks back too i.e. hes not lazy like CE

You have to ask the question who comes in to play Dele's role if he needs resting/ gets injured? Or do we change the system for that?

If its the former I think Bruno could be a good fit, and he could do other roles of needed. A lot of money though, but I guess that's Jose's job to decide if it's worth paying at this stage.

Might be wrong about this but isn't lo celso an AM or at least he was for Betis. I would see him as more of the Dele role.

Lo Celso played DM and CM for PSG but never really performed until he was moved to AM and striker for Betis.
Moving him back to CM for us would likely result in his level dropping.

I'm not worried about the talk of fitting him in. If Eriksen left and we didn't replace him then we'd all feel like we were short in that area. To my mind GLC is a long term option in CM or even off the right. Dele is holding down the 10 role at the moment but we need to have good options/cover if we're going to maintain our level where there are injuries and fatigue to deal with.

Sporting pumped PSV 4-0 in the EL this week and Bruno was glorious in the game. 2 goals, 2 assists. Quick highlights below.

His 1st goal is a low, 35 yard ripper, in off the upright and his 2nd goal is a penalty but it's bordering on arrogant the way he takes it. It's fuckin ace. The guy just exudes confidence right now. Playing at the top of his game.

I'm personally fully on board with this signing.

I think he'd be a very good signing but at this precise moment I think we have bigger fish to fry. We need an athletic and progressive DM badly. We also probably need a LB if Sessegnon isn't going to get a chance and most probably a CB as well. I'm not sure Mourinho is going to give any chances ti Skipp, Tanganga or KWP. Having said that, I wouldn't be at all disappointed if we landed Fernandes although I do wonder a bit where he'd fit in.

We dont need a LB as Jan/Rose and maybe Davies will be ok until the end of the season. I agree an DM would help but not a Matic type destroyer more of a Fernandinho/Fabinho ball playing DM

Hmm any chance Mourinho is 'toeing the party line', so to speak, and keeping it tight lipped? Seems pretty unequivocal, though.

I'm not sure he's someone we need anyway, per se. I'd rather we signed a left back, right back, defensive midfielder and a pacey wide man who likes to run at people and who gets plenty o' goals.

Good player but overrated, Benfica sold Felix for 120 millions so Sporting Lisbon refused to sell him less than 70/80 millions because they have some kind of inferiority complex with Benfica. They are desperate for money but still refuse to sell him for the right price because in their mind he's the new Maradona lol Now Bruno is devaluing in the middle of all the shitty players they have.

Tottenham doesn't need players for his position and even if that was the case the market offers better and cheaper options.
