If Eriksen doesn't want to be here then I'd be happy with him out and GLC and BF in.

So all the talk from Dan Kilpatrick is that it's Lo Celso or Fernandes as the replacement for Eriksen. Will be extremely disappointing if thats the case: if there isn't another addition to complement.

Would show a real lack of ambition.
Come on @nedley . Naive yes, shortsighted, yes Miserly yes, these attributes I can accept but to call Spurs lacking in ambition is one that I will not accept. Spurs over the last five years have been the epitome of ambition.

Di Marzio has been saying it’s nearly done for more than a week, why would we have sent people to Portugal if that were the case and why hasn’t anyone else agreed with him.

We don't really know for certain if our people are out there do we?

He's building off his "MUFC total agreement for BF" tweet from 3 days ago, before our reported interest.
Nico is the same reporter who said that we've signed Lo Celso for 60m on a 4m/yr deal till 2024. Relax people.

I cant see United allowing him to play in a game before moving to them? He could injure himself badly.

Mate, I don't disagree. It's a wonderful time to be a spurs fan and Levy is da man.

He and Poch together have got us here. But we are so close. Just like Arsenal were close when they got to CL finals.

We've mostly always done really good stuff in windows gone by (bar the last two) but we've mostly ALWAYS still left ourselves short.

You simply can't pretend swapping Eriksen (who I don't blame the club in its position), for a Lo Celso or a Fernandes and bringing in Ndombele is ambition of a club attempting to dethrown the City's or the Pools of this world.

To catchphrase the legend that is Woy Walker.

'Its good! But its not quite right' Again.

Gotta say it is annoying when we're that close.

10 years ago when we were Europa League also-rans Levy was dropping £90+ net when we had nowhere near the draw we are now and players were far cheaper.

Now that we're on the brink of something special he seems reluctant to loosen the purse strings. I just wish he'd really go for it in just one window - an investment in our best manager in living memory - cos if Poch fucks off we might find ourselves back in the Europa League before long.

I'm hopeful that this will be that window so I'll reserve judgment until August 8th, but given our recent history I wouldn't be surprised if we only sign 1 more and Eriksen leaves.

As a caveat.

I do in my gut believe that we'll be happy come next Thursday.

That's based on absolutely nothing apart from foolish optimism.

I think that bruno and gio would more than make up for eriksen as far as quality goes. Im not sure what you are expecting? For me personally i think that although eriksen has provided very well as far as assists go he does not do enough as far as controlling a game goes in the way than many seem to think he does. Lets just say i think with n dombele and glc we are a far better combined outfit.

Id be very suprised if we got both. Id have targeted gio and then looked for a quality rb.
I hate feeling on the edge with it all. There is never confidence when it comes to levy getting it done when it comes with real quality players that are available. He needs to give poch the tools.
