Report in Portugal are pretty sure that he will leave Sporting but after their derby match against Benfica(17.01). If United agreed a deal with them I don't think United would be smart allowing Bruno play this match.

Listen if United completed moves stories were to be believed, they’d have signed about 80 players the last 2 years and Poch would have signed with them in October of 2018. Moral of the story, dont believe a word the press says when it comes to that club

Also, Ed is so slow to complete he's invented his own form of Tantric Transfers

Mendes - could be there for neves, BF, sending a signal to levy to give a gee up, or talking about a player we've never heard of and we'll lose our collective minds over because we're transfer whores and have nothing better to do

Who fucking knows

At the risk of sounding unpopular, I'd still rather have someone like Grealish for so many reasons, so not particularly concerned if United get him.

Agree but do you really think we are likely to get Grealish now after how he has played this season? If we were not willing to pay 35-40m last time then I cannot see any chance of us meeting Villa's valuation now. Quite easily will be double what it was.

Wasn't anything to do with that, though - they weren't going to sell unless they absolutely had to, which their takeover prevented.

If they go down this season, they're not going to be turning down that money in the summer - they've spent £100m this season and will need to balance the FFP books that were dodgy even before they came up. I certainly can't see them expecting £60m+ for him.

I would like to think you are right but I dont see it. Even if Villa go down there will be no shortage of interest in Grealish, if he continues the way he has been playing for the rest of the season they will get more than £60m. You only have to look at the prices in recent times for the likes of Maguire, Richarlison, Wan-Bissaka, Siggursson, Pepe, Haller, Joelinton.
Some really average players going for 40-50m, Villa will get a lot more for a talented young English midfielder.

He is the only home grown player with his skill sets at prem level. I would love to see Levy bid £100m. Unfortunately I do not think that would be enough.
