No one is saying that we should have sat back mate. I commented in the match thread about 10 minutes in that Bentancur hadn't even come out second half. Just a personnel change might have been enough to stop them running through our midfield at will. As it was the changes came too late to even know if it would have made a difference. By the time they came on we had shipped 3.If we had have done what many people think we should have done, i.e. sit back and bit, manage the game etc like every other manager would probably do, we might have won. But what Ange is saying, is that when we are consistently pressing with intensity (which is within our control), we'll still stop the oppostition. It's not about sitting back, managing the game etc. We need to keep the intensity and pressure, that second half we lacked energy, that's why Brighton suddenly had space, if we had maintained the energy, they would have been wide open.
