At 2-1 the message should have been slow the game down, get control and be solid for the next 5-10 minutes. At that point the players need to switch on and take responsibility.

At 2-2 we needed to make changes but Ange just stands there shaking his head. Well, we're shitting the bed mate, make some subs and try and get some control back. Nah, just carry on shaking your head.

3-2 game was finished. The players had no idea and then Ange made a double sub that should have been made at 2-2.

In game decisions are really poor when a game starts getting away from us. Players need to take more responsibility but Ange needs to be way more proactive in trying to wrestle back control not just stand there shaking his head.

our combination play down the right in the first half was so good, johnson porro n kulusevski had such good understanding. in total contrast, theres no chemistry between destiny madders and timo. it seems like they just dont like / definitely dont trust timo. before he got subbed, madders chose to shoot with 2 defenders in front of him instead of lay it off to timo on his left. and then destiny had his poorest game in a while.

and we couldnt press them at all 2nd half. they tweaked something and they had more will and more energy. solanke madders johnson timo were all passengers in the 2nd half.

who fought hard 2nd half? kulusevski. but he got gassed too. porro tried. sarr when he came on ran non stop. other than them 3, most of the players still on the pitch went into hiding.

If we were tired from Thursday, reacting in game mode you take off a forward player and bring on another midfielder to gain control of the ball again after they score the first one, but Ange did bugger all.

Also, why did we move Kulusevski to left wing for the last 10-15 minutes!? Ludicrous!

When they scored their equaliser they got a huge lift, so does the crowd and their intensity goes up with their pressing.

He was inverting so quickly that VdV had no out ball again at times, it was far too predictable.
