Get out. We were over run for 35 minutes before he changed anything. He's got it right last few games but anyone defending him second half today is just a cucking for him imo.
Agree, on whole love Ange, but we lost all control in midfield.

I actually think Sarr and Bissouma were the right subs. But this should have red been done 20 minutes earlier

We’re a mid table club, and that was a mid table performance. It was on par as far as I’m concerned.
I get that we're all annoyed, but saying we're a mid table club is ridiculous. We've finished above mid table for almost all of the last 20 years.

Simply not good enough. Lack of any kind of resistance or ability to dig in when the oppo take it to you is a real concern.

Off the back of that, we look like a boxer who can dish it out and when on top and can KO anyone in front of him but as soon as the opponent fights back and drags us into deep water, we completely fold. That 20-25min spell was probably the worst I've seen from us in a long time.

Just so disheartening when you see we still have that level of capitulation in us. Losses happen but one's like this where it looks like the players don't know what they are doing and it's more hope that you don't concede really leave you questioning things.

Can we also disband this so called ‘leadership team’ of Romero, Maddison and (ok, not playing but still) Son?

Not a true leader between them when the chips are down

I know there is disappointment, however we played well for large parts of the game. We lost because we made some really poor defensive errors that you can’t make at this level.

A different type of manager maybe on the back of the travelling on Thursday, sures up midfield at half time as we are 2-0. But that’s not Ange he isn’t that type of manager.
It was far more than that.

The point is whether your view is correct or not it has absolutely nothing to do with why we lost today. None of the goals conceded were because of the system. udogie was exactly where you would expect a traditional full back to befor the first and third goals. We lost today because ange did not react to a change in momentum
Is that confirmation that Ange is a good coach or not? I can’t tell whether you are agreeing with me or not…

Sad as it is to say, but this isn't a surprise to most Spurs fans. It's what we do. I've supported the club since '79/'80. We have always been this way. Apart from the odd season or two where we might win a trophy. I've said it before, we are not winners. We talk about our DNA. What exactly is that, play nice football, but have a week mentality. Proper big teams like United and Pool's DNA is to expect to win trophies and titles. Even United, arguably the worst period in their history, have won a European trophy, FA Cup and league cup. Their owners demand trophies. Ours demand top 4, and will only invest just enough to do that.

We have had different managers/coaching staff, different players, yet nothing has changed in our mentality. The only thing I can think of that remains the same is the expectations put upon the players and managers.

But, Ange said we will have moments like this. We have definitely seen a change for the better in recent games. The change we need now is consistency and mental strength.

agreed, easy to blame Ange cos that’s where it usually goes. But not a single one of them stepped up. In-game management is not solely on the manager
100%. With the control we had in the first half should have been at least 3-0 at half-time at a minimum. Regardless, at 2-0 you know they are going to come at you the second half and even when they score you need to know how to adapt.

Watching Tottenham for over 50 years and they never fail to disappoint you

Gifted Brighton a goal early 2nd half and the rest is history

Outrun and outfought after the break

Went from dreaming of the quadruple at HT to thinking we’re not good enough to win the Johnson Paint Trophy, 2nd!

At this rate, we'll be going through more leaders than the tories.

Ange needs to understand there are times when solidity is needed, especially away from home. We looked so good in first half, but as soon as conceded and fans in stadium get excited we s**t the bed. Same thing happened in Leicester game.

Our team on paper is more attacking than under Ossie. 5 forwards and fullbacks that charge up the pitch. We all love attacking play but there needs to be some pragmatism at times
