That’s an excuse and it doesn’t wash. Poor game management is nothing to do with the system. We lost our heads and Ange watched while Rome burnedHigh speed high risk football. When it works it’s glorious, when it doesn’t we look naive. It’s what we can expect from Ange, it’s all we can expect from Ange.
Odd as it’s essentially a whole new teamit's spineless Spurs, and lets be honest, no manager has been aboe to change that.
It's not though is it. The press vanished, our midfield went AWOL, our forwards ran out of steam. I wish it was just defensive errors but it's more than that. This is down to individual errors among our defenders
Incredibly disappointing from the players and Ange today.
We're very much still a work in progress, as they say, and will seemingly always be as soft as shite regardless form or personnel. It is the story of Tottenham. Just have to live with the reality.
Another international break entered into with a thud.
I was unconscious for that game.Spurs 3 United 5. 2001.
Another thing. They're 2-0 down at home and have just come out for the second half. It's obvious the manager is going to have tweaked it. So sit in for 5 and work out what they're doing before you make some decisions.Instead the team and Ange watched them score one, two, bloody three goals before doing anything about it. That's totally unacceptable.
We're great when the going is good. But when it gets even slightly tough, we crumble.
