Some great trickery and pace in Brighton's front four which can certainly hurt us on the break. I have faith in the lads today but this will be a tougher test than United IMO.

I like Brighton as a club and they are good going forward but if we play like we have been in the league then we should really have too much for them

A lot of pundits predicting goals galore but they don't realise that (as per the manager watch thread) we have the second beat defensive record, second best xG against and have only conceded more than 1 goal once this season (which was 2 against Newcastle and I think they only had 3 chances in total)

Any win will do at this stage to narrow the gap to the top but I'm hoping we continue the consistency of performance

Only player I fear in that Brighton team is Mitoma. How long has he got on his contract? Could be the perfect son replacement in the future.

Having been in the UK for much longer than normal I have managed to get to a couple games. Today before leaving for home in the US Iam going to Brighton for the game.

I have nothing but massive respect for our fans who go to any game but Tottenham fans who travel week in and week out to away games are a different level.

I have had a glimpse of the dedication and effort it takes and then just how incredible our away fans are. Not just supporting the team but how positively they treat their fellow supporter even if it’s some random bloke from Colorado.

Maybe it’s because as Spurs fans we all just get it. Or maybe it’s because humanity ain’t as shit as everyone makes us out to be and we can still enjoy limbs in the away end and respect each other , wherever the fan may be from
Lovely sentiment, well put.

Now…how the hell do you pop over to the UK from a different continent and manage to get tickets to (what sounds like) more than one away game? I’ve lived here for 43 years and can count on one hand the number of times I’ve managed to blag away tickets to a place I want to go!!!!

I don't think this will be a tight game. Either we'll give them a gubbing or vice versa. If they start the game well the key will be managing it and not crumbling.
Agree with this. If it’s anything like the Chelsea game, it’ll be 20 players in a highly congested middle of the pitch, with two crazy high lines. 10-10 is my prediction. Hopefully we can nick it with an 11th
