I actually don't think there are many teams that can go toe to toe with us in the league. City and Liverpool maybe. Arsenal were too scared to open up and attack us...

Their manager is like Ange, has a style of play and sticks to it. He just doesn’t have the players to do it and we’re better at it atm.

We look like a proper team. Witout slating Werner too much, as poor as he is, I think the team shape is much better with him than with Son these days. He works back and the threat of his pace leaves space for others. Would be great if we could go out and sign Mitoma in the summer

He is more willing to run the line whereas Son comes inside nearly every time which allows the opposition to read it and they don't get stretched.

We definitely need a player that can go both inside and out to make us hard to defend and stretch the opposition.

Son only really goes on the outside when he's closer to goal and can face the defender up quickly.

Having said that Son can do what Johnson is doing on the other side - drift in between defenders and get on the end of through balls.

It's why I think Son and Johnson together doesn't have the best effect. They both have to alternate between stretching and drifting in but only Johnson does both.

I think their biggest problem is playing a high line with distinctly slow back line. None of them seem to be able to deal with the ball over the top. Porro, Udogie, and van der Ven have enough pace to make up for anything in behind in comparison.
