So impressed with the softness of Dom Solanke’s touch.
He‘s putting the white ball on the spot as if he’s nudging them at the Crucible on a green baize.

We look like a proper team. Witout slating Werner too much, as poor as he is, I think the team shape is much better with him than with Son these days. He works back and the threat of his pace leaves space for others. Would be great if we could go out and sign Mitoma in the summer

Loving this so far. Brighton are a really good side too, not many will go through them like we did first half. Kulu is outrageous as always.

My goodness that’s as good as i’ve seen Spurs play in a very long time, very impressed. The commitment and work rate all over the pitch is mightily impressive, but most of all the directness of our game. No messing about just win the ball and straight into attack.

I normally pick out a few players that have played well, but they all have been fantastic!

Coming of an away Thursday night fixture and Brighton are a good team, this is wonderful stuff.

Our players look entirely confident in what it is they're supposed to be doing, and their specific function in the team. Given how fluid and fast our play can be, you'd expect more structural confusion, but at the moment we look like a single unit moving in tandem.

Lovely watch. Certainly one of the best performances so far we’ve seen under Ange. This should be our benchmark. Love the speed and intensity on the ball; movement, touch and control has been on point.

And as much as people want to slag off Werner, and I agree that his end product is often lacking, he makes us a far more dangerous team at the moment. He doesn't have to be Salah or Palmer, he makes constant runs and he only has to get a couple right for it to benefit us.

The way that Solanke sees the pass reminds me of Teddy. The way he holds the ball up reminds me of Harry. Not bad qualities for a Spurs striker. This is all very exciting- to be deservedly two up at half time against a side like this is so good.

Even with a low block I love the way Kulu turns and gets things going so quickly. He’s absolutely thriving in his new position.

He's doing what Son sadly can't really do these days. Obviously Son is an elite finisher, but he isn't offering much apart from that now his pace has gone. At least with Werner they they have something to worry about in terms of pace and movement.

Porro just about has the pace to keep up with Mitoma, but that's going to allow Mitoma to dictate their engagements somewhat. It's no shock that their left has been the only real productive area on the pitch. You could argue that Brighton should have a goal, but if we're playing that game then we should have one more from the opening minute chance where the final ball was....lacking.

It's been a great half though. No surprise that our best chances have come on the transition although the work Deki is doing down our right is brilliant. Brighton cannot track him and he's a great layoff option for the short ball as well as an incredible runner when going long. The ball progression options on our right since he moved there are elite.

Bentancur has done great shielding the back four. Doesn't look brilliant receiving it in there but so long as we are giving him options it won't matter overly much if he's not comfortable taking 2-3 touches in there.
