We played rubbish today but at worse we will be 4 points from 4th place by the end of tomorrow's games so all is not lost but there does have to be some serious changes in this team , saw more of Moura in a few minutes than some of the other players in the whole game.

Didn't see the game today, so im blind to today's failing. However I'm beginning to wonder where the root is.

Whilst I'm sure poch has lost the dressing room, and it was mentioned that maybe kane form was maybe part of this stale patterns. What I'm really concerned about is if the root goes deeper. Ie the club.

Have the players lost interest in the club as well as poch. Big problems regardless. Mad to think we looked so good against Palace the other week and then back to bad straight after.

An obvious root is the total mismanagement of players contracts.

Let's be honest, we all know levy basically let the football side go completely due to the stadium, just left Poch to prop it up with no signings, and a load of players who weren't being paid what they were worth. It sowed discord and now we're reaping what he sowed.

Glad I was working through this and couldn't watch it. What a monumental fall from grace and what a way for it all to end. No happy ending, just pure disappointment. The worst part is knowing how close we came.

First all Levy needs to back Poch losing him will be back to square one mid table, half full stadium give him what he wants money to build a young new team, get deadwood out,go a spent 200m in the next couple of summer windows plus from sales gonna be a long hard couple of season ahead.Back POCH
We’ve had 6 managers since we were a mid table club behave yourself

While there is a nugget if truth in what you wrote, I am guessing you never went to charm school

Charm is the last thing you need to point out that long term strategic decisions shouldn’t be influenced by the fact that Paul from accounts will have some really nasty memes lined up for Monday morning :cautious:

Bull

Shit

The players have always been rewarded with pay rises as and when they've been deserved/required. Fucking Michail Antonio can piss off, they're hardly minimum wage paupers, and they all willingly signed their contracts for their lowly 80k per week.

As for signings, Poch was offered players but turned his nose up, apparently he didn't realise he's not in Madrid yet and we can't just splash 60m on any player he fancies. De Jong didn't fancy us so Poch rage quit the transfer window, boo fucking hoo.

Should've concentrated on his job and actually coached what he had, but it doesn't look like that's happened for a good 18 months because they look clueless. If we keep on giving him time and he doesn't learn from his mistakes we'll be in for a relegation battle.

I’ve reached that stage in life/age now where rather than getting over a game like this by going out and getting pissed and having a mad one, I’m actually off out to a garden centre to buy a new bird bath and have some cake.

Yeah I went to battersea zoo to play on the fire truck. Took the kids so it didn’t look weird.

At the end of the day Levy makes the decisions. We have got to hope he knows what the problem is. I don’t think he wants Pochettino to go but if the problem is him then it will need to happen. Hopefully, however, the issue is more down to the players. Having witnessed the disgraceful performances of Eriksen and Alderweireld today it looks that way. Personally I think , if that is the case, we need to get rid of those who want out as soon as possible. Real Madrid might as well have Eriksen early for all the use he is. Whatever, at the end of this debacle, we need a manager and players who are committed to a future at Spurs.

Can’t believe there are people on here saying ‘calm down’ and ‘knee jerk reaction’. Fuck off is it knee jerk! We haven’t win away in 9 months, 9 MONTHS, we’ve been playing like this since at least the start of the year!! What fucking Tottenham have you been watching?! Not the one we saw again today, obviously. Dickheads.

No manager these days last more than 3/4 years, yes the squad looks tired but the same can also be said of the manager, time for pastures new.

The positives: Moura (he needs a run in the team now), Winks made up for the Bayern debacle and Sissoko can play RB better than any of our RBs. And it can’t get worse than this... surely!!!????? This has to be rock bottom.
Losing to Watford after the break would surely be worse than today.

He’s absolutely adored at Porto, Inter Milan and Real Madrid. He was also adored at Chelsea before they inexplicably turned on their greatest ever manager.

Not quite sure what you’re talking about?
He's a great manager, but a complete dick whenever he is talking to the press or when things don't go his own way. Having said that, if he were to turn this team into winners I would swallow my dislike for him.
