I like Brad but we all know what age he is. I would have liked a good young keeper brought in as I'm not sure how long we'll be able to keep Hugo. Now I fear we could be looking for two keeper's next summer.

I can't see how he can be the no 2 keeper and take on another role which will presumably have him regularly travelling to the states.
I think another keeper is coming in.

This ambassador role is important - the new stadium is not going to sponsor itself, and lots of palms will need to be squeezed.

I think it's a good move all round. You don't throw away that kind of experience and all our recent managers have praised him for his professionalism and the example he sets. He'll also play a huge role in developing our brand in the USA, which is highly lucrative. But I'd be surprised if we didn't have an eye on another keeper to bring in as cover for Hugo.

Seconds everyone's thoughts here. I think it's a wise move from us and at his age he is probably accepting of his position. A hugely experienced third choice if need be. Let's face it as well, if Hugo did get injured for a period of time - say 6 weeks - it's great to have him as an option even if we do have a younger keeper.

I'm glad we're keeping him. Seems like a model pro and I like the way he comes across.
I know he could have the skins of dead children drying out in his loft but he seems a nice bloke.
