As disappointing today and last week were, it's October. October.

We have the best keeper, defence and midfield pairing in the division, and when fit and on form, possibly the best striker too. We are so close

If we had Ozil and Coutinho, we would win the league, I have no doubt of that.
Instead we have a collection of decent-good options in these areas who play depending on form.
If all are off form then we struggle like eff.

I don´t think we will break down Leicester at WHL when we can´t even break down WBA or Bournemouth. A draw.
Lose at Emirates and Stamford. West Ham possibly a win, or a draw.

Of course. Id rather we lost at West Brom and won today or vice versa though!

We drew too many games last season. It's looking like an even bigger issue this season

Thats the thing though arsenal, city, liverpool have all lost at least once and in the case of the first two are above us with liverpool joining later this evening.
We will get it right eventually but the draw thing is costing us and will do until we start turning them into wins.
Although we bought well during the summer it still looks like we are short in the attacking third which other teams realise, this was our problem last year and continues to be.

Disappointed we didn't get the win...but not surprised. Happy with the point in the end.

Still work to do on the fabled mentality. A team that wants to win the title needs to win these games it's as simple as that. Until we do, we cannot claim that we are truly a 'big team'.

Hoping we learn how to deal with this type of expectation with experience but we're not there yet, despite what some have prematurely stated.

I don't buy into this argument that always comes up.

Receiving the ball and doing nothing with it, and mostly losing it does not amount to a threat.

That sounds like all our attackers today.

We'd of been better off moving Dembele up nearer the striker

We won't get anything against Leicester, think we will lose that, Arsenal we will draw, West Ham we will draw, Chelsea we will lose, that's what I can see happening based on our current form.

I can't see us getting near Arsenal. Best team in the league at the moment. Think we will lose that.

The other games are up for grabs though. Those remaining teams are all up and down. Pray we get them on a down day

Coutinho has one good game in five. Because the media lap that one game up so much he's vastly overrated. His contribution is nowhere near the level of Eriksen.

Sad to know we've already drawn too many to win the league, based on last year's stats - we are so blunt up top, sometimes with Harry as well. We need to win more, even when chances are at a premium.

Really, frustrating, but I know MP can sort it.

@Bobbins, I don't see what's funny? Or are you laughing in agreement that we drew 13 games last season and have drawn 4 in 9 this season?

Predicitng the future is a mugs game, but I'm prepared to be that mug and say we'll go on to draw more than 14 games this season...

If that was detrimental to our challenge last year, I think the same will be apparent this time, too.

Shit subs from Poch, shohld have seen Winks coming on to slow things down in midfield...we got a problem with attacking at the moment there's just no fluidity and there doesn't seem to be w plan going forward, defense is imperious as ever, Wanyama is an absolute gem.

Its an annoying result but you have to give credit to Bournemouth. We are still unbeaten thanks to Hugo.

I'm guessing everyone will give stick to Eric but for me Wanyama didn't have his best game and I would have played Dier next to Dembele.

I'm not sure if it's 2 points lost or a point gained.

I hate these early kick offs.

Jesus mate I think you need to see someone

I said based on current form, on paper we should be getting lots of points from these games but let's try and take away our bias from this, Leicester have been shocking in the league so far but against us they will be wanting to prove a point as we were their "main contenders" last season and let's not forget, we struggled against them twice last season.

Arsenal are playing extremely well at the moment, in a derby anything can happen but if we play like we have done today then I think a draw is the best we can get, don't forget we couldn't even put them away when they had 10 men last season and Kane was bang in form and Arsenal were in shocking form at the time.

Then West Ham, which I think we can win but the result could go either way as we are their "cup final" and then Chelsea, same could be said for them, look how they stepped it up against us last season despite being shit otherwise.

So whilst you might believe I need to "See someone" I believe that I am trying to be as realistic as possible, I cannot see us getting a win other than possibly West Ham from those fixtures, especially when we have CL squeezed inbetween and given how we are completely lacking in front of goal at the moment.

If Harry comes back and hits the ground running my opinion might change but right now that's how I see it.

Of course I could be completely wrong, this is football after all.

I don't know what it is with our attack, even when Harry is there. Lamela has flair, and this attribute should complement our hard work much more than it does, and that is what frustrates me.

It's not that the players aren't talented, but up top we still don't have that cohesion that we see at the back with Toby and Jan. It's been a couple years, too so maybe we need to introduce a new approach?

Althouh, Son has been good, in the main.

Couldn't give a fuck that we didn't go top. We didn't bottle anything. It's October and the league table is about as relevant as what crochet pattern Harry Kanes nan is using to make booties for the new baby.

I'm more worried about the fact that we haven't scored in two games and look unable to finish teams off since the international break.

But who cares. We are still undefeated, and we are more than capable of beating anyone on our day.

He's been outstanding. Great signing, if we hadn't have bought him I dread to think how we'd have coped with Dembele's suspension.
