Let's face it,

Eriksen / Delle / Lamela

Martin Keown would have kept up with those three at full pace. Therein lies the problem, no pace worth a shit in the final third. Iv'e seen quicker funeral marches than what those three offered in attack today.

I agree with this we need to have some variety in the attacking players N`Koudou has to be in the bench. Janssen really needs to step up in my view he has been disappointing in terms of a goal threat....

If the message is 'Tottenham win today they'll go top' always means we won't. We just cannot shake off this bottlejob tag can we. Four points thrown away in two games against mediocre teams.

I got stick last week for complaining about the west brom result. What are the excuses from those people this week then?

Title contenders my arse. I have no doubt we will challenge for 4th but the gooners look miles ahead of us this year.
It's October and there are still leaves on the trees. Don't let that stop you from posting hysterical rubbish, though.

Leicester, Arsenal, West Ham and Chelsea next 4 games. I predict 2 points from these.

We won't get anything against Leicester, think we will lose that, Arsenal we will draw, West Ham we will draw, Chelsea we will lose, that's what I can see happening based on our current form.

I've said multiple times this season Eriksen should be dropped he isn't performing at all. And if Alli doesn't score he literally does nothing, the amount of shit little chip passes he did today giving possession straight back to them was woeful.

Really disappointed that we only seemed to really perform to beat City this season, didn't get close to that level of intensity today and that's what pisses me off most.

I feel when the game is extremely high tempo, Eriksen struggles to be a influence offensively. To be fair though he pressed well and worked hard off the ball, but it's offensively where we want him to be effective.

We played well against City and West Brom. Apart from that we have been pants this season. Not enough pace in the side and no real backup striker. We got lucky with Kane, Son had a purple patch for 2 weeks and hoped Janssen would be a steal, but instead he is horribly short of pace and doing a Soldado impression. We don't look like scoring in a month of Sunday's. Our defence is making us look better than we are. So bloody frustrating 2 points against lesser teams. Aaaaaaarrrggggggh!!!

Defending counts as football as well you know...

The defending in general was very good, Vertonghen, Wanyama and Walker were excellent I thought.
Attacking was poor and taking off your 2nd and 3rd biggest goal threats when you're 0-0 and your 1st is injured is just criminal.
You have to say fair play to Bournemouth though, they played with a lot of energy and denied us time and space.

I'll go 6 points

What's wrong at the moment? why are we failing to create direct chances?

Are we lagging due to the fixture congestion already?

Are we just missing Kane as a focal point to our attacking play?

Have other teams developed a method to nullify us by pressing hard and sitting deep denying us both time on the ball and space in the final third?

We need to start finding the answer to what other puzzle is blunting us currently because we're not going to go very far this season if we keep relying on long shots

We weren't "fucking woeful". You show Bournemouth zero respect and demonstrate zero understanding of the game. The performance was decent enough but lacked cutting edge. Disappointing? Yes. Woeful? No.

Woeful was Newcastle last year. This was a decent performance with a disappointing and perhaps worrying result and trend.

Screaming that we are shit the managers shit the signings are shit for a side that has far and away the best defensive record in the league is quite simply entitled whiny bollocks. And you deserve to be told as much

And how exactly am I not showing Bournemouth any respect? Could you highlight which aspects of the game were above average from us mean as you are quite obviously the font of all knowledge that us mear mortals cant possibly see what you were seeing?

When have I screamed that we are shit? ive rightly stated that I think Sissoko and Janssen are donkeys which unless again you can enlighten us with your superior football knowledge is there for all to see.

So I ask again how am I self entitled?

As quite a few have said - ponderous, no width, poor subs, poor team selection - in hindsight Jansen should have started with Son wide left. We just seem to play too much through the middle. The pitch was small and we needed width. And sometimes against teams like these and with a keeper as shit as theirs you just need to keep it simple. Get it wide and swing it in with players attacking it. Put their keeper and defenders under pressure. Would be nice to see every now and then during a game. Change it up once and a while.
