Also do not understand at all the positive comments about N'Dombele - I'm afraid I am with Jose on that one

He is slow, looks overweight, lacks guile and passion, throws his hands up when he misplaces passes or gets tackled. If we can get a buyer I would move him on asap

at least he looks different than any other our player, which is a good thing. In fact, he was today only player who even looked like he would create a threat.

No way Levy sacks Mourinho in the summer.
I highly *highly* doubt it, just because of the money involved (unless there was some magical end-of-season position clause). When Mourinho took over we were in 14th but since then we've been right up in the mix for European places and they've fucked it.

We’re appalling. I didn’t want Mourinho and I think it was a foolish appointment; but the truth is, this lies squarely at the boards feet, and most significantly, at the feet of Daniel Levy. I’m done with mr Levy and I’m done with this ownership. We need change.

I don't understand this school of thought at all. Levy wasn't on the pitch and he didn't pick the team or the tactics. What is it that he's done which makes you believe it's his fault?

I completely understand what you're saying as I agree that the deficiences of the squad are our biggest problem, by far. We're lacking in (at least) central midfield, central defense, and fullbacks. We haven't got squad players good enough to push the players in our first XI to be at their best. That's a recipe for mediocrity, and we're seeing it play out in front of our eyes.

But Mourinho has to take some measure of blame as well. Newcastle just put four past this lot. They're absolutely shit. We've got players like Kane, Son, Bergwijn, Lo Celso, and Ndombele. We should very fucking well create a shot on target. The fact that we haven't done does fall upon the manager in some degree, even if what he's got to work with isn't good enough in a general sense.

Regardless, he's not a project manager and we've got a project on our hands. It's a total shambles.

My criticism of Mourinho would be his one dimensional tactics and his insistence on picking the same 4/5 wastes of space. I’m hoping he’s doing it to highlight how poor our squad actually is as opposed to Levy thinking things aren’t as bad as they actually are.

I would really rather we just bite the bullet and try and get Nagelsmann in and go back to buying young, hungry players, Aaron’s, Cantwell etc.

It’s logical thinking. Get the team defensively solid by getting into tactical shape - not parking the bus. Quickly move the ball to attacking players. When the attacking player can’t bloody pass the ball a few yards or run into traffic without looking up or create anything - I simply won’t blame Jose. We have too many attacking passengers. Lamela is not good enough. We have no one in the Bruno Fernandes type position. The goals against Ajax and Man City were all long ball lumps. We had not won an away premier league game since Dec 2018 since Mourinho took over. He can’t change a team complete in about 4 months giving away his main creator. I will not blame Mourinho. He has not been able to get a single player in. A season or two is a fair crack of the whip.

Guaranteed that he won't.... we will have to sell to buy. And looking at this performance, who would be willing to pay top dollar for our bunch of overpaid numpties....
I bet Jose is seriously questioning his position, with the job he’s got on his hands I can see him walking once this season is finally done.
I don’t see any positives at the moment, we had a couple of results when he came in but since then we’ve regressed further than when Poch was in charge and the players actually look even less Interested.
No cohesion, can’t pass, won’t shoot, no creativity, no heart (apart from Hugo the other night).
This rebuild is going to cost Levy a damn sight more than if he’d spent a few quid two years ago when we needed to.

I recall Gary Neville claiming the contract was full of get out clauses based on both Levy and Mourinho holding up their end of the bargain.

I think Mourinho is gone by Xmas - even if at that point we’re only 10 games into the new season.

"Tottenham did not attempt a single shot on target in this match – it’s the first time Bournemouth have ever stopped their opponent from having an attempt on target in a Premier League match, in what is their 186th game in the competition."
To be fair to our players, I don't think they were trying to hit the target.

Ok I’ve turned against Jose when I was in favour of him and believed he had legitimate excuses with all our injuries, but he has a fully fit squad and I can’t take this turgid shit anymore and I don’t see it improving next season.
Same as me

I do not wish to watch a single game for the rest of this season. Even against Arsenal. 25 years. I never felt this way.

If the will to win is gone, please play the youngsters. When we pass back to Lloris in the last min, that was it.

Reconstruct the spine and the will of the team, i will look for my remote again in the middle of a pandemic.

There are many players who are cogs in a very mediocre wheel. The ball was moving in so many good areas. People like Lamela, Sissoko, Aurier can’t play a 5 yard ball. I can’t blame Mourinho. Look at this team for the last 18 months. We have been bloody aweful. Let’s not paint the last 10-12 months of the Poch era with a brush that is not accurate. Toward the end under Poch every time the opposition crossed the half we looked like conceding. Now the team has a clear shape, structure and strategy. Look defensively solid and but our attacking players are dross. Creativity is zero. Can’t give away Eriksen without replacing him with anyone. Won’t blame Jose for that. Need some investment in creativity. 3 clean sheets out of 5; 1 a Pogba collapse penalty; the sheff United game the wake up call we needed. Steps in the right direction but it’s going to be a journey.

Sorry mate but I can't agree. We have conceded significant chances even in the games we kept clean sheets and still look extremely panicky at the back. Tonight we could have easily lost the game 2-0

Why do you think Mourinho will be able to rebuild the squad on a low budget? Even at Inter, where he didn't spend much the team imploded after a season.

I would much rather have a successful and highly regarded manager with a restricted budget than have a medicore/unheard of manager with the same budget.

The squad needs an overhaul it’s that simple.

Why, precisely, would Nagelsmann want to leave the 3rd best team in Germany, with serious resources and ambition, to move to a mid-table English club? We are below Sheffield United. Nobody would suggest Nagelsmann go to Sheffield United.

Kane
Alli
Lo Celso - new to team
Ndombele - new to team
Bergwijn - new to team
Sessegnon - new to team
Son
Skipp - new to team
Toby
Gedson - new to team

The rest need moving on over the next 18 months as they are either past it or average.

This current squad is going nowhere any time soon no matter who the manager is and we are going to have to suck it up until it receives major surgery.
