That's reaching. Should Son have been sent off? I think the Bournemouth player has reacted like he has been shot and got Son sent off.

But I don't blame the ref or Bournemouth player. Son shouldn't have shoved him and if it had been a Bournemouth player shoving one of ours aggressively like that? I'd be pissed off if the Bournemouth player was only given a yellow.

Even with 10 men on the pitch, we've been very lucky. Bournemouth had one stonewall and one other good shout for a pen, and Dier could have gone (I personally don't think his second challenge merited a yellow even if it was a foul, but again I could see why it would have been had it been given).
hardly reaching Son should not have pushed and by rules a sending off but then so should the bournemouth player be sent off.

No, its not just that. We're fucking wasteful and not staying focused.
We weren't wasteful against WH or Ajax. We were just fucking shit, fucking slow and easily outplayed.
We've had a series of chances for Lucas today but not much else, been given credits by the ref and still ended up a man down.
We're unable to play at the tempo we need to.

Good to see Wanyama on his way on for Dier as we would be down to 9 within 10 minutes.

Agree. Skipp or Foyth for Dier, and play smart. Alli and Lucas should still be able to create enough to score, particularly now thst Bournemouth will be throwing everything foreward
I agree Dier replaced but not Foyth please he will give away a penalty.

Their keeper has had one of those games. I thought we were battering them for the most part. Son's reaction wasn't professional but it happens.

There doesn't seem to be much leeway for players that return from injury and fairly long layoffs on here. Dier is well out of practice. Not the best of games.decision wise, but you can't always just walk back in and play like you've never been away.

Quite often? Anytime you raise your hands to another player like that you are asking for a red. If it was a Bournemouth player you’d be sating it was a red

Nah. If he'd pushed him in the face then maybe but he didn't... for every example you can find of a push being punished with a red, I can probably find 20 that result in a yellow.

What the hell can you disagree with there @Lumiere? How is that action not that of an idiot? How has Son not let the club down, in a vital match, by getting himself sent off for pretty much no reason at all?

You see pushes on players every week and it's nearly always a yellow if it's not in the face. The ref has been conned. And if it is a red for pushing why didn't the bloke that pushed Sonny afterwards get a red as well? Because he didn't hold his face?

Really that’s a red card ..? You can barely flick someone in the ear on a football pitch these days , the bournemouth player should be embarrassed

At least sons fresh for Ajax

Son will be fresh, but the rest of the players have to work harder now.

if as expected we lose this game, Kane needs to be 'risked' vs Everton & Lamela needs to stop scratching his ass & be counted as we will need him without Son
