We have hit a wall this season, I don't see where our next point is coming from, let alone goal.
it is going to be an interesting summer.
This season implosion is down to 1 man though

Strange season.

3rd at this stage, and a cl semi final but it hasn't been pleasant really.

Son red was the wrong decision. Lerma got him sent off.

However, Dier was a red, and he also should have had a pen given against him, so we don’t have an awful lot to complain about here.

Barely a push and he went down like son one inch punched him in the heart .....holding his legs and rolling:rolleyes:

So would any of our players on the receiving end, because you want the opposition sent off.

The simple solution is don’t fucking shove them.

VIOLENT CONDUCT

Violent conduct is when a player uses or attempts to use excessive force or brutality against an opponent when not challenging for the ball, or against a team-mate, team official, match official, spectator or any other person, regardless of whether contact is made.

In addition, a player who, when not challenging for the ball, deliberately strikes an opponent or any other person on the head or face with the hand or arm, is guilty of violent conduct unless the force used was negligible.

OFFENCES WHERE AN OBJECT (OR THE BALL) IS THROWN

In all cases, the referee takes the appropriate disciplinary action:
reckless – caution the offender for unsporting behaviour
using excessive force – send off the offender for violent conduct.
Says to me then that bournemouth should also be a man down

Dier next to go. Pochettino has to get him off NOW. If we go down to 9 men he will have only himself to blame. Davies on for Dier and push Rose into the middle.

Four years of the same players letting you down time and time again in big games.

I'm not talking Sonny. The pr1ck Dier on a yellow so dives in, lucky to be on. And luckier to not give a pen.

Rash decisions when the heat is on. He has built a career on it.

I don’t think you can really bemoan the refs performance.

If we were watching Liverpool and the same decisions were made, we’d be saying the ref has been too lenient if anything.

Sub Dier 100%

This ref will be itching to tuck us up, we don’t need to give him nay opportunity

We'd much rather have the red for Dier than Son. Ref has bought their crowd reaction and pressure and sent off Son for a yellow card offence.

Weak referee

Does Son miss 2 games for straight red due to violent conduct? So he'll miss our last game of the season and 1st game next?

Not sure how anyone can blame the ref. Game isn't over. I would say play back and look to counter with Eriksen, Dele, and Moura who have had several nice counters already. May need a bit of individual magic from one of them to get a goal.

And you have to take Dier off here. Can't take a chance of going to 9 guys.

We only have ourselves to blame. Dier should be off and they should have had two penalties. Embarrassing performance. Ridiculous that we thought we couldn't improve this squad last summer, while we wasted time on De Jong lmao.

Going forward we have looked okay until we get into the final third. Our finishing and our final ball has let us down. Dele, Moura and Son were a modern front three and causing problems. Just lacked the goal our play deserve.

At the back we look vulnerable. Dier needs to come off now.

Son got frustrated because he had lost the ball and needed to keep his composure there. He knows the importance of the game. He knows his importance to the team. Lack of professionalism in that moment.

Big half-time for Poch.

we seriously better not fuck up 4th when the other teams are trying their best to give it to us ffs.

I doubt we will get back in it for a while again if we mess this up... its going to hurt the club badly.
