Lol at the loan message. Either Mourinho is playing it cool with the amount of money we have to spend or we are well and truly fucked! He's been consistently saying we don't need players, aren't in for players like Fernandes as they are too expensive and that we have many windows to rebuild. While I do agree that it's not ideal, maybe it's the only available option.
If the players we want aren't available - and we certainly need SOMEONE - maybe a loan is the best thing to do. Either with a minimal fee or an option to buy.
I'd love us to just swoop in and sort the problem but that might just not be possible.

Honestly mate I don't see what a loan would solve. I don't see many players of sufficient quality being available for loan. I'd rather we just used Oliver Skipp and recalled Luke Amos to do an emergency job if Winks & Ndombele are still suffering. Still better than Dier and Sissoko.

If we're going to do a loan the only position that makes sense in is upfront where we're looking light without Kane. When Kane's back there will be much less of a need.

Yeah, striker loan is the best option, without doubt.
As for midfielders, I've no idea who's potentially available but if there's anyone decent out there, we'd be daft not to look at it imo.
