With winter quickly approaching, UKIP prospering and Tottenham failing. My partner and I have decided to grab a break from England for the next two years and instead head out to Southeast Asia and then on to Australia. As my girlfriend poetically put it "you're not spending the next two years on that fucking spurscommunity" whilst she doesn't share my fondness to this website she is probably has a point so after Monday my lurking days and occasional witty snippets will sadly be over.

It's fair to say I'll miss:
1. People constantly badgering omnipotent JJ ; who's semi-deity status comes at a cost of people harassing him constantly for a 4 months of the year
2. A&C getting more and more suicidal as he attempts to create order in his ITK discussion thread.
3. SpursManChris's profound and other-worldly wisdom that I fear might be lost on some of you or his player's threads that resemble something you'd find on a AQA GCSE board. (Kyle Walker. Discuss.)
4. People slating Thinktank like he was solely in charge of the appointment of Poch and thus all blame for Spurs from this point on must be put squarely on him.
5. BC's four page analysis on 'pressing'
6. Spurssince57's references to footballers that have been dead for longer than most people on here have been alive for
7. BlakeGriffin's black sheep attitude
And much much much more.

Whilst there's not much I am really going to miss from Spurs at the moment there's a few things I'd quite like for when I return:
1. Preferably the same manager
2. A little bit of consistency
3. A midfielder who can pick up the ball from his defenders and quickly and fluently get the ball to the attackers whilst providing protection to his back four
4. I'd have hoped we'd have beaten one of the 'big teams' by then
5. To successfully defend a counter-attack
6. To buy the right players instead of the 'Tesco-Value' ones
7. Bale and Modric to realise they've been foolish, that the made a huge mistake and come back to us.

I however, I'm realistic and realise that number 5 might never happen.

More generally in football over the next two years I'd like to see
1. Sepp Blatter, as punishment to being a corrupt wanker, has to to build the rest of the Qatar World Cup Stadia by himself
2. Jamie Redknapp to apolgise for his recent years commentaries as he'd realised he doesn't actually know what he's talking about.
3. Arsenal relegated
4. Yanited relegated
5. Man City & Chelsea declare themselves bankrupt
That's about it really, just wanted to say thank you to you all for some entertaining moments these past few years, it's been fun, in short sporadic spaces. And unless they catch me smuggling heroin. I'll see you in a few years time!
Falcao. Good night.

You'll probably get to see quite a few Spurs games on TV out there. I hope you enjoy all that wall to wall sunshine whilst we're all freezing our arses off!

Firstly, you can meet SpursManChris when you get to Aus and secondly, like me, you will still be all over SC there, unless you get banned for 4 months, like I did.

Enjoy it, have a blast.

Good read, would read again.

Envious as hell of where you're going man. It's all about the warmth and sunshine to this guy. To hell with cold.

He is solely responsible :shifty:

They do, but I'll be on less frequently so I won't be able to see the weekly bickering and imploding that I do at the moment, which is a shame.
You can guess what it'll be like though. Anyone on here could construct a thread based on what the score is in any particular game.

"Tottenham go 1-0 down in the opening 15 minutes as Burton Albion carve open Spurs's high line, this is really going to kick start their season..."
...along the lines of that I imagine

When I went to Australia, the first three days were cold and wet. Thought someone was taking the piss and I'd just ended up in Darlington after flying round in circles for 12hrs.

Australia does look quite like Darlington when the veneer of sunshine is removed.

Enjoy Asia though! (y)

Same. It was cold as well (Melbourne in mid October) and when my Mrs arrived, it was hammering with rain. Brisbane and Melbourne suffered some of its worst rain in a decade or more a couple of months later.

I thought it must just be me taking the Northern weather with me, then I realised Australia's tourism marketing dept has carried out one of the greatest swindles in history in convincing all Brits that it's warm, sunny and dry all year round.

Still moving there though.
