Blessings in disguise?

So I've been thinking about this for a while.

Whenever deals fall through, Levy gets abused but has anyone ever thought that sometimes deals falling through are blessings in disguise ? Here are some examples

If we had signed Begovic we wouldn't have gotten Hugo

If we had signed Damiao all these windows we wouldn't have gotten Soldadoooooo

Had we signed Cahill/Samba we wouldn't have signed Vertonghen

Those are a few off the top of my head but the point I'm trying to make is don't slag off Levy when deals fall through because they could be a blessing in disguise.

if we'd signed phil neville i think harry would've played him next to palacios away to milan rather than sandro.

Alternatively, if we signed Damiao we could be in the champions league right now. We could still have Modric. We could have a raft of other top players as well.

Don't worry the Samba deal is back on - he's due to come back to the UK soon

Still would have liked to have signed Cahill. Thinking back would Chelsea have won the champions league without him? Would Spurs have finished 3rd with a stronger defense?

If we signed Luis Fabiano then Adiepf might well still be on this forum, so there is that...

If we had signed Stuart Downing then Bale would probably still be struggling to get a game at left back.
