Real Betis are pushing to sign Tottenham’s Giovani Lo Celso with the midfielder their top target since June according to Fabrizio Romano.

Lo Celso joined Spurs from Betis back in 2020 and has also had a loan spell at Villarreal during his time in North London.

Loan with an option inbound!! At least theirs some noise about something, so so quiet ins and outs.

It's been so frustrating. He was signed by Poch who left not too long after.

Since then he's struggled to settle in or stay fit. You'd hope by now he'd have either worked his way into the team or found a permanent move elsewhere.

He showed a few glimpses last season and a few of us thought he might finally be in contention, then he wasn't.

I really hope he finds a perm move this window, for everyone's sakes.

Don’t care about him anymore, I don’t think he cares about Spurs and I don’t think he ever has.

Has to be full transfer or loan with obligation. We can’t keep running down his contract and value by farming him out to Spanish clubs just to get his wages off the books.

Srike it down as what could have been and let the guy get on with his career outside of Spurs.

Bit late for that.

You can’t have a loan with obligation as this is his last year

They probably push with a massive 3.8 m offer spread over 11 years with a 0.5 m bonus if he wins ballon d'or.

Produced less in a spurs shirt than Ndombele. The only thing that stops him being our worst ever signing is Ndombele cost more.

Yeah Ndombele did him a lot of favours. It's just been a succession of loan negotiations with teams who don't want to pay more than a tenner for him, underwhelming performances and injuries with a sprinkling of good moments every so often. Expected so much more. I thought we got the better deal when we got him instead of Bruno Fernandes!
