I've honestly been really impressed with Kane's cameos this season. He's still a young man and he clearly looks like to me that he has taken a step up in his development in the past year.

He looks stronger, his reactions to the step up in pace look sharper and he looks intelligent on the pitch.

That last 15 was good but where was that belief for the first 70 minutes? Chadli looked good, the best I've seen him actually.

Can't believe how animated I am over a game so boring I was thinking about what I'm going to eat tonight most of the time.

Wow, that was surprisingly good, what a great performance from the lads! Everyone played well apart from Soldado and Lennon (although Lennon did well in the last 15 minutes or so)

Fuck it, id start with the same team apart from Adebayor for Soldado and probably Eriksen for Sigurdsson

Bentaleb was amazing tonight, what a great game he had!

It was completely crazy not to start the game with our absolutely strongest available team. Not much to play for in the league so I cannot fathom what the question was.

Especially since we used to see near full strength sides against awful opposition after we had already qualified for the next stage earlier in the season.

Baffling..

moral of the story. it isn't the quality of our players, nor the tactics.

its heart.

we showed none during most of our season. had we played every game, every moment like the last 15, we would be fighting for the title
Had to give you an Optimistic rating rather than an Agree rating after you blew it right at the death with mention of the title, but otherwise I completely agree: heart, desire and urgency have been the main things missing from our team this year.

great performance tonight, tie was lost in 1st leg. Glad we have shown some balls at last.
Got some good youngsters coming through on tonight performances(Bentelab , Fryers
, Kane) hope we given them a chance for the rest of the season

I won't blame Sandro for one moment of madness in an otherwise very good performance in a position alien to him.

Really some of you need to get a grip

I've always believed we've had the talent and the ability. For whatever reason it was, that ability has not been shown for most of the season. When it is, we can be a match for most teams. Even those who have only lost to Barcelona and Chelsea at home.
