Siggy and Lennon to compete for most ineffectual player of the match. I remember the last time Siggy played in central midfield. It was in our 1-0 home defeat to Fulham last season. I know it's hard to believe, but he was absolutely useless in that game.

Look, I know defensively we are always going to be tested but why compound matters and place a chocolate teapot midfield to protect it?!

Honestly, it's fucking shambolic that lineup and how degrading for Eriksen, our best player available on the subs bench next to youngsters!

We could have lined up like this;

Friedel

Naughton Veljkovic Fryers Rose

Sandro Bentaleb

Lennon Eriksen Chadli

Soldado

Obviously Eriksen should be playing. Don't know whether he's unfit or Tim's just being a dick again, probably the latter.

Anyway, COYS.

So he presumably rests Christian Eriksen, then fields a piss poor team with all of our fit wingers?!

That team has no balance to it, offers no protection whatsoever to our botch job defence, and friedel starts against a team that split our high line open time after time last week.

Tim Sherwood, somehow he manages to outdo himself every week without fail.

He truly is as thick as shit.
I see the team and what Im angry about is lennon is playing and Eriksen on the bench, this season have been full of crazy decisions

Clive Tyldesley and Andy Townsend want Tim Sherwood to remain as Tottenham manager. As do Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd, Everton and Man City fans.

We'll lose this anyway so I'd start all the young ones and at least create a record of fielding the most debutantes in an European match. That would be a record for some time.

Was either him or sigurdsson, and it's a nothing game so why risk the better player

But what are we saving him for? Our fight for 7th place? Our season is essentially over, and this match represents our last, slim, chance of rescuing it. Might as well go for it.
