Not sure why Mauricio Taricco came to mind reading that headline

How can Pochettino have identified him but still then have Spurs to recommend him? Someone must have been first! Daily Mail clearly last to put this 2 and 2 together.
Would be very happy with this signing though. Solid, reliable (not words that get associated with Spurs everyday, but I think we need that in a back four to progress) 21, British.

If we still have rose the day before the season starts and no new lb, I would sign up taricco as his performance in Lesley's testimonial shows he still has pace (or everyone around him was using a Zimmer frame)

Big upgrade and as cheap as chips compared to what Shaw is being touted for. In my opinion can be just as good.

Would still like experience in there too. Are we going to sell Rose and get 2 left backs in?

I think there's room for improvement in Rose. He did have some truly poor games last season as a result of that we need competition at left back.

Zeki Fryers from what I've seen looks far more comfortable as a CB I fact I'm coming around to the view of him being that (CB)

Haven't really watched him play. Is he good enough? From the picture in the article, he looks a little thick in his mid-section. Can anyone who has watched him enough say whether he can really make tight turns?
