I have seen Son, Sess, Sissoko, Toby, Skipp, Kwp, Parrot, Wanyama, Austin, Gazza, Eriksen, Lo Celso, Lucas, Foyth, Tanganga. Anyone I missed?

Generally very well informed, but that’s only 15 outfield players...

You can not name more than 16. Maybe a youth player or two will come over to sit on the bench when their match is finished.

The absence of Rose is interesting. Sessegnon left wing back?

Yes, but generally a traveling squad will have 18-19 outfield players to legislate for injuries, therefore having spare men on top of the necessary 16. Only having 15 in the traveling squad is quite bizarre, and not something I think I’ve seen before.

If it is to leave room for e.g. Cirkin, White or Bowden to make up the matchday 18 just 3 hours after their match has finished, it’ll be a great experience for them, but I’ll be amazed quite frankly.

Do we know if the youth squad usually travel separately? Might be that someone has traveled as part of the senior squad, but Lilywhite Rose wasn’t aware.

A shame that Tanguy is still injured. Has he strung more than 3/4 appearances together yet?

I know but after all its a nothing game and Jose could already have in mind who he wants to give minutes no matter what happens. If thats the case I would be happy for one of your named youth players to join them. Maybe as a surprise after their match.

I’m sorry, but there’s just no way this will happen. There’s no way modern physios/ sports scientists let one of the lads be on the bench just a few hours after playing 90 minutes. If there’s no chance of them getting on the pitch, they’d get as much out of being 19th man.

Most likely, there’s a slight mistake in the squad list and Rose has actually travelled.

I can imagine it is like you said and it is unlikely they will be on the bench but I disagree about it is the same to be an unused sub or the 19th man. The thrill to be in contention, see your name on the big screen, go warming up and get a feeling of being a real part of it I would value much higher. And who knows. We lead by two or three goals and Jose gives you a minute.
But it is most likely that Rose is out there somewhere ;)

The points don't matter tomorrow but 2.7 mill euros for a win could go towards a transfer fee for whoever Jose wants..

"Group stage performance bonuses will be paid for each match: €2.7m per win and €900,000 per draw."

Weird of us to sign Vorm, only for him to sit out his chances to play through injury

Am out at the O2 while this is on. Debating whether to record and watch when I get borack just find out that we smashed Batern for seven in their own backyard while out. Decisions, decisions.
