Our only hope here is that the financial situation means Madrid are now interested in a loan.

Which now means levy is only interested in a cheap deal(or more likely free) and real paying most of the wages.

We could probably pay a decent chunk of wages, our wage:turnover is pretty good. If it came to this we would probably be able to compete against most people pretty well.

He never has to work again. If he truly loved Spurs, he would have taken a pay cut from his massive salary to make it happen.

So if an employer asked you if you wanted a job doing exactly what you're doing now, but for less than half the money, would you do it because you "loved them"? It's all relative. I'm certain he has huge outgoings and also has several people he provides a living to.

Bale is a big tease. Would love for him to come back, however, I believe its a fool's hope.

A massive part of me is hoping Zidane's loathing could be the catalyst for a scenario, not too dissimilar to the transfer that took Fernando Torres to AC Milan on a two-year 'loan' deal:

Great deal for AC Milan, as I recall.

If I was set for life, and had the opportunity to work with a company I loved and people I cared about, and half my salary was still more in one week than most people earn in 5 years... you bet I would jump at the chance. BUT only if it's for a company that I love. You simply can't compare to the average man on the street salary, because half of that and anyone would struggle, probably have to sell the house and down size.

There are plenty of examples here in Sweden where players have returned at the end of their career and played for their old club for a minimum wage, to help the club as much as possible.

All about how willing the person is, Bale will never be back here.

According to Ali Gold he's on more than 3 times what Kane is.

Never. Going. To. Happen.

And he'll probably be building his own golf resort long before he is interested in coaching.
