A possible contender for most pointless thread...
But I just saw Gareth Bale signing autographs on SSN and noticed that he's right handed.

No one interested?

Sorry.

The best i heard is that Phil Mickelson is right handed and plays every sport with his right hand apart from Golf as he used to mirror his old man's swing action when he was younger....now that is weird!

Same, right handed left footed!

Stronger with my left arm than right though (although I cannot write with it nearly as well!) and throw with my left too, although I play raquet sports with my right

I've heard that about Brian Lara, except that he played golf right handed so it wouldn't affect his cricket.

You shouldn't be so modest Timboyid - this is a clear winner.

I'm sure it doesn't still go on, but I remember in my young days that left-handed pupils were forced to write with their right hand - which probably caused a fair bit of misery for them. Hopefully, schools are more enlightened now.

I'm right-handed but back in my football playing days I'd use my right foot for accuracy (passing, dribbling etc) but my left foot for power (shots on goal).

Yeah - I went to a Catholic school and the Nuns and the Brothers used to crack you on the knuckles with a ruler to try and make you change, it was a terrible time - we were forced to use a fountain pen with blue "quink" and by using your left hand it meant it was very easy to smudge your work.

I was right footed but back in the 60's all us kids used to practice day after day with our lefts until the left became nearly as good as the right.

In later life I found I could play golf, table tennis snooker or any handed sports with either hand, although I wasn't very great at most of it.

My first ever round of gold down in Whitewebbs, Enfield I went round in 92 playing with a right hand set of clubs but when I got a left hand set together
it was something like 112. Putting was great coz I could do either.

Unfortunately during my childhood I broke my left arm in various places 5 times and my right 3 times - That's without broken collarbones and numerous dislocations and sprains - This left me with slightly understrength arms, although they function well I couldn't arm wrestle a kid with too much success.

Yeah I'm similar except I use my left for putting the goalie off by scuffing it into the floor and falling over in front of him

And me. Well right footed and left handed.

I'm fairly comfortable with both feet I'm football. But I'm right handed for golf, batting in cricket and playing the guitar. And left handed for any bowling (cricket or otherwise) or any racket based tennis like game.
