So what do we think Ange will do with the starting lineup. Personally I would start with:

Vicario

Porro
Romero
Danso
Spence

Bentancur
Bergvall
Maddison

Son
Odobert
Tel

Subs - Austin, VDV, Udogie, Gray, Bissouma, Sarr, Johnson, Moore & Solanke.

I'd be hesitant to throw in VDV & Solanke from the start and with the ability to make fundamental changes to the lineup at 65 minutes. To be able to bring on Udogie, Gray, Moore, Johnson & Solanke it really can give us a big energy lift in games.

No bullshit with the title, I like it. Might get a bit confusing when the second leg rolls around though...

We'll win.

People still post in the wrong chats even when it's clear which is home or away games anyway 😂

I felt at the time that Alkamaar have the game to hurt us more than Sociedad, they have a very strong counter which is our Kryptonite under Ange.

I hope I'm wrong.

Porre or Undogie. Tel or Odobert I guess those 2 places are the only ones that are not guaranteed either way .

the rest I would imagine will be spot on assuming Romero is fit to start

Werner will be on the bench ahead of Moore unfortunately

If Solanke's fit he has to start. the team doesn't work without a centre forward. And with no Kulusevksi the front half of our team is the most lightweight in football history.

Tend to agree here as Solanke makes a world of difference to how this system functions and the perfect pivot up top to bring the best out of the wide personnel

Any idea what time the press conference is on at? Nothing on Google search on it. Good to know what's happening with Deki and getting confirmation of the 3 coming back to see if they are fit enough for bench spot

This week’s VftL had a Dutch football expert as guest, and he mentioned that AZ are the ultimate pragmatists. They'll dig in, make it hard, and look to exploit us on the counter – which is sensible, given how awful we've been against teams that do that.

We need to start strong, score early. Otherwise they will settle in and we'll have to work to break them down and avoid their counter.

It’s usually later in the day when it’s a European game
