Athletic app

I've subscribed to Athletic for a couple of years now and think it's well worth it when you get a deal but lately the app is now full of stories of US sports like NBA, baseball etc
I only follow spurs, Premier League and Fantasy Premier League so no idea why all this other stuff is taking it over. Deleted the app and reinstalled to see if it was that. I know Athletic was bought over by NY times not so long ago.

Anyone else have this? Putting it in general football given it's a football app but happy to move thread if not the right place

Yea I've only ever had the 3 but still full of American sports. Not the same for you I take it?

I reckon 80%+ of my feed is still what I follow

It's an American website, no? I don't subscribe anymore but I was always able to specify my feed.
