Really don't see how why this victory is lucky for some. We have 23 shots and 10 on targets ffs. Against Citeh we had 3 shots and 2 on targets and still won 2-0.. Perspective.
Perhaps because we seemed to give Villa more chances than City and made Villa look like Liverpool.

Grealish so good, could of won CL with him and it would only of cost £25m. Levy you ****

I don't think he was great to be honest. He's a decent technical player but one paced and today was often just looking to hit the deck rather than play any football. In a better team he might flourish when it's not all on his shoulders, but ultimately today he was up against Aurier and Alderweireld playing really badly and giving him free run of proceedings and he ultimately came up with very little to punish that.

Grealish reminds me a bit of Bale. Big, strong, fast, good passing vision and can dribble as well. Just needs to add end product to his game and he will be an absolute monster of a player.

A lot to work on both offensively & defensively, that game was far too open, especially given the quality of opposition we was playing

That's my worry, I don't think it was a good performance personally, even if we did create a lot of chances. Way too open and Villa were all over us at times, for periods we couldn't even get on the ball and just pass the ball around. It's one thing conceding possession and control against the likes of City, I didn't have a problem with that performance even if it was backs against the wall, but to do so as much as we have against Southampton and Aston Villa isn't good enough IMO.

23 shots, 10 on target. If we could just be a little more clinical during games these sort of matches would start looking a hell of a lot more comfortable.

As long as we allow teams to keep in touch with us in the scoreline they will always have periods where they push us back.

It's been like this for most of my Spurs supporting life. We've always lacked the killer mentality needed to be winners.

I like the fight that the team shows these days, right up to the final whistle. We used to do that a lot in the recent past. Slowly coming together.

We didn't get grealish so we saved up and bought the younger, superior and more unfit version of him.
Don't think we can accommodate him, we need a prime wanyama type signing

To be honest id rather a player who is consistently good on the pitch over one whose best performances are on YouTube.

Bit difficult not to hit the deck when our main tactic was to leave him on it.
