Agree - what a massive loss bit signing him - excellent player

Exactly.

If Villa go down, he’ll have offers on the table from most top PL clubs, as well as some of Europe’s big boys.

When we had the chance to sign him for £6m, we decided to try and shaft his boyhood club, the club he loves, by dropping our price to £4m.

Levy demonstrated zero respect for him or his club.

He will not be choosing us over other clubs. That boat has well and truly sailed.

I really do not know how we’re making top 4 without a striker for the rest of the season. Will be a minor miracle.

Mourinhoball - look like we haven’t got a clue. Yet win.

Thing is, his Chelsea teams always looked like they knew exactly what they were doing. The opposition were almost scared to attempt too much attacking.

At times we are headless chickens! The first 20 minutes were terrible. Couldn’t make simple passes

I disagree with the part about him staying on his line too much. I think he comes out and punches loads. Great sweeper keeper imo.

I have to disagree. His presence in the box does not inspire confidence. He was flapping at the corners

We'll be such a better team once we move on from Dele as an automatic starter. I think Poch had finally figured it out but never got a chance to implement new plan due to lack of Tanguy and GLC. Hopefully Jose is nearing the end of his tether with him too now.

Dele needs to be scoring at the rate of a high level striker to if he's to warrant a place in a Champions League calibre team, because his contribution in basically every other area just doesn't cut it.

Swap Dele for Grealish and we’d be 4-1 up.

Hate saying it, but he’s a much better footballer than Dele is.

He has the kind of technique that allows him to play at his own pace, very few players have that grace.

Dele thinks he has the same but he really doesn't.

Son's arm is fucked - he's not even moving it whilst running, keeps wincing as well.

Taken off soon probably.

It’s an away team against a team fighting their life. Yes, our defending has been poor, but we are winning. We don’t have a divine right to coast through these type of games.
I get that, but this is not one game in isolation. We can't keep giving up goal scoring opportunities like we've been doing recently. Our luck will run out eventually

Damn - didn't know about that one. Even refusing to pay the £30 million Villa were asking for seems ridiculous now. I know Levy was just doing what he always does and it's worked on plenty of other occasions, but when a play of such obvious talents (Villa fans at the time knew exactly how good he could be) is on the market and there's no competition, you've just got to get the deal done.
