We couldn’t buy an away win under Poch. Very happy with this today. Think that’s 3 under Jose now (Wham, Wolves, Villa)

Anyone know where I can see some extended highlights? Missed the game today and it sounded like a great match
There are some on YouTube or check out fullmatchesandshows.com should be highlights on there

What is their manager on about? Not a pen? Glasses needed
I’m not quite sure why anyone would say it wasn’t a pen. The player slide in, gets none of the ball, but the Bergwijn’s leg. It’s cast iron... the suggestion that it’s not a pen because he is blocking the shot falls down as he took Bergwijn out

Thought Sanchez was a bit more assured today.
he really wasn’t. Bingo every time. I think i stoppes Counting in the first half.
One time, when he got all the time in the world, he tried (for the first time ever) to clear a ball controlled to a Spurs-player - but failed.

It’s a disgrace that anyone with the qualities of Sanchez can reach PL...

I took it as the manager trying to take some sting out of some justified criticism of their defence. Get everyone talking about VAR instead of how suspect some of the decisions their defender made...

We need to go back to controlling games and looking as good as our quality is.

Winks is supposed to be that player (control) but despite playing well, it doesn't happen. Equally we need a destroyer in the middle.. We saw more from GlC in ten mins than dier all game and I'm huge dier fan. Especially when he sits and blocks space.

I think getting ndom fit is key. I feel he holds the ball so well and we don't look weak in the middle. GlC is a must although that's not your classic DM and pivot mid (maybe a good thing).

I hope we see that change in the CL game as we have such talent
I'm confused what I want. Under Poch there were games we controlled with little end product. Now we control no games but consistently get into goal scoring positions and are let down by poor finishing or poor decision making.

Gonna wait for your full report, like my 19 year old said today, everyone jumps on Aurier when he makes a mistake but never compliments him when he does something good. At the beginning of the second half a villa defender committed the same tackle on Son that Aurier committed on Grealish but the pull was considered to light to warrant Sons response to it,

Well I'm gonna say Aurier is a poor defender but his tackle on Grealish was a bit of nothing. No compliments are needed in my view. Same as some some others in the same shirt who havent been up to scratch. The compliments are deserved when the percentages of things you get right are higher.
