I don't think you've got a particularly nuanced opinion of my original post.
Because when it comes to racism, there's no room for nuance.

It's similar to the Origi situation where people were confused how a "positive stereotype" (for lack of a better term) was racist.

So in your mind the CCP are promoting racism by their promotion of nationalistic Kung-Fu?

Without unduly wading into gunfire, I see what @SandroClegane is saying.

When I (thankfully, briefly) worked in one particular car garage a few years back the manager there was like David Brent. He was wading around telling about one lad he had interviewed for a technician job, and he happened to be a Chinese lad. Old Brenty was laughing like a whatnot saying "it'll be alright, he can make us all a 72 with rice" or something along those lines. IMO that was wildly racist.

You can easily say that it's a cultural perception because Chinese people are known to most people in the UK as being proprietors of cuisine vendors (restaurants and/or takeaways). Personally speaking, I have rarely know or interacted with any Cantonese or Chinese people outside of that environment. That doesn't, obviously, mean that's the only place they exist, or that every Chinese person works in a takeaway.

If that's too dissimilar, I don't really see the different between implying a person knows Kung-Fu just because they are Chinese is any different to saying "Oh you must be good at maths then". It's a bit of a lazy stereotype.

Going back to my other post about ignorant racism and intentional racism, Robbie's laugh after it, to me, is condescending so I would interpret what he's saying as casual racism. The poor lad clearly looks offended/upset by the insinuation, too.

Must be crazy to be Chinese or Indian and have racial stereotypes thrown at you - the sheer fact that there are over a billion of each demographic would suggest that there's far more personal and cultural variances than anything we have in western countries, and that's coming from a tiny country with a different accent every 10 miles.

Arsenal (W4-D8-L7) equal the club Premier League record for fewest away wins in a single campaign: W4-D4-L11 in 2017-18.

They are also guaranteed to have their worst Premier League finish since 1995.

Hey, maybe Robbie would’ve have asked a white fella if he knew Kung fu. But he almost certainly would not have. What he said was racist. The fat tool.

Honestly AFTV damages them more than they realise. It's funny to see.

Characters getting cosy to some players bit then calling others all names under the sun can't be good for morale and relationships.

Imagine your teammate is hanging around with a YouTuber who calls you a "useless p****)?

Not only that but I imagine some younger footballers of other clubs watch or see AFTV videos and it just makes them want to pile in even more, like that video of Bissouma laughing.

It just makes them a target and causes riffs internally.

It's bound to have just been a mistake but I'm sure DT neglected to mention one team while he was going through all of those who finished above Arsenal...
