I don’t think Arsenal’s problems are players wanting to leave. I think their problem is they have players on huge wages happy to stay and do the bare minimum.

This means they either lose them on a free or they end up offering an undeserving player, like Ozil, a huge salary go stay.

I think they'd do well to get rid of Auba in January. One of their major problems is that they have two strikers in a system where only one is needed and hence Lacazette always ends up on the bench. Get rid of Auba, and use the money on younger hungrier players, plus it gets rid of another disruptive influence in the dressing room.

This is fantastic. Everything from the production quality of the video to the dejected look on their faces. Door opening at the end made it.

Arteta is going to fail and I will love it. He and people thinks he’s a genius when he was a average player and a assistant to a world class manager in Pep who had a world class team

What is Arteta going to do about some players being unhappy like Aubameyang, Özil, Lacazette, Xhaka? How’s he gonna sort that defence out? Not even Simeone would be able to do it. What’s he gonna do when the club is on a bad period? They have no leaders and I doubt the players will respect him. What’s he gonna do about the incompetent board Arsenal has who decides who they buy and everything else?

Arteta will fail I have no doubts about that

Sky are going on about how he has learnt from Pep, therefore he'll be a success.

None of them mentioned that AVB learnt from Jose, and the wally with the brolly learnt from Fergie.

Jeezus not wrong about the quality. Filmed on a potato by someone with the shakes and heavy breathing like he's watching a porno in the background. Sort of thing you'd expect from a 13 year old youtuber not something that claims to have 'old media' scared.

If I were Arteta I would be thinking the following players could play for me and would be good enough (for now)...

Leno, Bellerin, Tierney, Torreira, Maitland Nîmes, willock, Guendouzi, Lacazette, Pepe, Martinelli

Everyone else needs to be shipped out. Saliba coming in next year. Academy midfielders are bench players. Play a 4-3-3 to get those 3 forwards on the pitch. They need a CB, DM and an 8 into the starting 11 for next year. And they need a scattering of bench players.

They should be looking to build a team that starts to perform in 12 months. Cup run next year. CL qualification the year after.

In reality they’ll lose patience and fall to shit. ViVE AFTV

Robbie's so faking it, I bet he's rubbing his hands with glee off camera.

He impressed me when I first saw him at Sociedad and then when he first came to Everton however after that I saw nothing of him to say he was a great player. I think this is quite a jump for him. Emery had been around for quite awhile prior to arsenal and he failed. Like Utd and pool after years being at the top under great managers Arsenal will struggle long term to replace Wenger. Utd went through it with Busby & Fergie. Pool went trough it after Paisley. Everton after Kendall & us after Sir Bill & Keith.

I just hope their's last longer than most of the above.

Fergie had three assistants who all went on the manage.

Brian Kidd failed to keep Blackburn up, sacked with the club 19th in Division One the following season. Lasted less than a year. Hasn't managed, only assistant and youth coach since.

Schteve McClaren we all know about. Won titles at Twente but shit everywhere else.

Carlos Queiroz flopped bigly at Real Madrid (who the hell gave him that job anyway?) and has only managed national sides since.

And that's not even mentioning all the players he's had who have taken managerial jobs, only Hughes when he was at Man City has had anything resembling a decent spell at any club.

Apprenticing and assisting a top manager does not a top manager make, that much is clear.

Hard to say. Our current manager has won plenty and he was only a translator. There is always a chance he will shine but I think it is too far too fast. He needs to manage some reserve teams or teams in lower leagues to learn more first before taking control of a team that is in the top half of the Premiere League. This is real life, not Football manager computer games
