Currently 100/1 with Sky to be relegated.

Their next 8 games are:

Everton away
Bournemouth away
Chelsea home
United home
Palace away
Sheffield Utd home
Chelsea away
Burnley away.

I can honestly see them getting no more than 5 points in that run. 7 points clear of the drop at the moment. I'm having a tenner on it. I'd question whether their players have the mental and testicular fortitude to grind it out.
I have about 10 points from that. Xmas fatigue will affect SU and others, while bourmouth and burnley are very winnable. Chelsea is out of form and they could get a point from that at least, or bourmouth or palace. IMO I'd say they will get from 8-16 from that.

They do. I think it's quite deceptive that they are broke. But not yet. I'm still waiting for their stadium debt and no participation in CL for so many seasons to bite them. Hard.

Swiss Ramble confirmed that if they fail to get top 4 this season it bites hard. That will be 3 seasons out of CL.

Also, that 30/40m is already committed in stage payments next year for players they bought this year.

The only saleable assets are Auba/Lacaz, one will have to go.

Have you actually watched Arsenal play recently they are dogshit, seriously they are, even their own fans wouldn't think they'd get 10 points out of those matches lol.

Imagine having to make three more payments on Pepe when in truth he hasn’t shown anything to indicate he can cope with the pace and pressure of the PL ? Read somewhere these three payments for Pepe are 20 million each. More than likely wrong but so heartbreaking for those involved

It's minimum 72 over 4/5 years. There are add-ons which could take it to 80, hopefully just based on appearances, but likely dependant on top 4/ winning something!

I think they believe that because he's been working under Pep he'll would have picked up his methods. This is a risk, as we saw what happened with AVB after working with Mourinho.

Its not like they have the players to play the Pep way anyway.

I’m finding this situation hilarious, I don’t think it’s any coincidence that Ancelotti has now gone to Everton and a seemingly “relaxed” Arsenal who were prepared to give Freddie a chance until the end of the season or if the right man comes up are now wanting to appoint a manager.

it seems to me they were going for Ancelotti, couldn’t get him so they are now going for Arteta on the rebound, who they could have gone for straight after Emery went.

What tops it off is that they seemingly can’t even convince him to take the job. An assistant manager being given the chance to manage a former team. It’s been what? 24hours since they had a meeting and it’s according to sky sports, at a “sensitive stage”. I can’t imagine Levy ever taking that long to approach his man and (See Redknapp and Mourinho as evidence).

The Club is an utter joke, and so poorly run, I can’t see any manager ever really succeeding there like years gone by.

I don't think they really want Arteta. They probably thought they could get someone like Nagelsmann in the summer and have now realised that 1. It's not going to happen and 2. Ljungberg isn't good enough. Raul Sanllehi might know Arteta and think that it would be a good fit.

Indeed, fuck China and their terrible history of human rights abuses that are still going on today.

It’s about time the West stopped bending over and letting China fucking us all over, but that won’t ever happen because money always comes before human life’s.
