He's obviously been told to. Wouldn't surprise me if he'd never even heard Benny's name before ten minutes before the interview.Benny was a solid aul left back too for someone who only cared for the money.
Very weird zinchenko mentions that, from bloody years ago too. Obviously lives in his head.
Doubt it. They’ve had a tough start, played city us and villa away and then Liverpool at home tomorrow so even if they lose they’ll still be right in it.If they lose to Liverpool tomorrow I can see them starting to implode a bit and their fans getting fed up with the style of play and bottling under legohead.
Let that self-doubt creep in amongst the players and fan base - and it could be a fun watch for non-Arsenal supporters...Doubt it. They’ve had a tough start, played city us and villa away and then Liverpool at home tomorrow so even if they lose they’ll still be right in it.
Plus they’re getting their players back, odegaard close to being fit etc so they can quickly start to look good again
Jesus, what performative nonsense from Henry. The only thing I don't about that Zinchenko quote is that they're just continuing that trend of trying to please their AFTV-like fans and get cheap thrills amongst them by talking down on us. I know we're rivals, but it always feels so forced. We've seen it over the years with the likes of Fabregas, Ozil, Szczesny, Wiltshire etc. Even Henry a month or so ago couldn't even bring himself to say the name of our club when presenting on CBS ffs.
Fuck off DJ.Doubt it. They’ve had a tough start, played city us and villa away and then Liverpool at home tomorrow so even if they lose they’ll still be right in it.

Just such odd behaviour from all of their current and ex players, it has been for years though.Yeah, trying way too hard to continue to play up to the Arsenal fans. I would feel like such an immature child doing that. I love discussing football with others so much that I have no problem praising Arsenal if it's warranted. I certainly wouldn't go as far to refrain from 'being able' to say their bloody name.
In hindsight I can understand it actually, he’s probably thinking if he can get some money out of it then it’ll help his homeland so he’s got to make it at least half interesting for anyone to buy it, goon support will lap it up if it’s laying in to us even by criticising someone who he never played against!I can usually understand why footballers released books, but Zinchenko? Anyone who buys that deserves to be sectioned.
There’s a part of me that always loves how every Arsenal player tries to make a dig at us to try and get favour from their fans

The only one who I’d say was normal is Wrighty, who is a decent, non biased pundit who knows the boundaries between banter and making yourself look like a Grade A Weapon to anyone other than an Arsenal supporter.
Amazing how we get so much airspace from their ex players considering how irrelevant we were to them on the pitch when Wenger was in charge!
Good points. What I've noticed is Tony Adams, Lee Dixon, Ian Wright, David Seaman etc never engage in this type of nonsense.
They've lived and feel the rivalry as strongly as anyone.
But they earned respect from the fans for what they did on the pitch.
They might drop a comment about us but it never sounds like pandering.
I remember Gouendozi giving it the biggen in his first season. Carl Jenkisnon if you can remember him.
So many mediocre careers so they try to win support with gimmicks rather than doing their jobs.
It's cringe. Most of them don't even know they're playing for a South London club singing that stupid song.
