Jose doesn't have a history of getting or playing slow strikersJose likes slow targetman in the mould of giroud or milik or llorente ... They help you to retain possession

You said slow. Compare the list you posted.Benzema or higuain, lukaku, costa - i would not call them super fast
From Di Marzio:
Going to be a Bournemouth player
True but given our finances because of Covid we will absoloutely need to be going for 'opportunistic' signings as jose said in the presser, players with not long left on their contract who want to move for one reason or another etc.Juventus going through coaching changes - creates an opening for us with Milik and seems he may be the top choice for José. The Callum Wilson option has opportunistic signing all over him rather than pre determined option

That was not what I was hoping for when this got bumped ?Milik only has one year left on his deal. With Pirlo in charge now and rumors of him wanting Dzeko, I think the links will start coming our way for Milik again. I think he'll try and hold out for a UCL team, but we shall see!

Bumping this thread as Fabrizio Romano mentioned yesterday that Spurs like and are tracking Milik but that he prefers Juventus, and to keep an eye on it if Juve go for Suarez or Dzeko.
I'm speculating and obviously we can't know who the target is, but that seems to square with what Tottenhamboys posted in the ITK thread about our top choice seeing us as a backup option. Based on reporting from Gerard Romero and Di Marzio it seems that Suarez may be close to signing for Juve, and if so I wouldn't be surprised if there was some movement on Milik soon.
@Hercules why is this spam? Romano is one of the most reliable reporters in all of football and specifically namechecked Milik on a Spurs podcast yesterday. We were also strongly linked with him earlier in the window before Pirlo was hired at Juve and their focus seemingly shifted to other targets.Bumping this thread as Fabrizio Romano mentioned yesterday that Spurs like and are tracking Milik but that he prefers Juventus, and to keep an eye on it if Juve go for Suarez or Dzeko.
