To try to keep this on topic of football a little more, as much as Chelsea would hate to deal with us, I think they're in that place where they have such a big wage bill/squad and Rudiger is a prize possession that they do it. For more money than to most? Maybe. But end of the day it's a business and Fat Frank has seemingly made it clear that a valuable asset isn't in his plans.

I've been racially abused in the past but nothing has come of it, even with some of those times going to boards of people/people with power etc... I still know I was racially abused despite these people of power not being able to definitively prove it.

That's what's happened with Rudiger, in his eyes. He believes it. The investigation didn't find anything as proof. That doesn't mean it didn't happen, it means that they didn't find anything. And there's every chance there was nothing. But Rudiger feels that there was, and thus thinks that racism won. Completely fine for him to feel that way and in his position I would 1000% be the same and would want to keep fighting my case and sticking up for what I believe.
That’s a big thing for you to talk about openly with a bunch of strangers on the internet. I’m sorry you’ve felt compelled to reveal something that painful and I sincerely hope my approach to this topic hasn’t contributed to you feeling it necessary.

So a man who’s highly charged from adrenaline, quite likely to be feeling the effects of fatigue leading to exhaustion, living out a high pressured position in the midst of a London derby in front of over 30,000 people is more likely to be ‘right’ then a carefully selected panel of impartial experts undertaking an independent review of the incident with countless videos, freeze frame photography and police assistance?

Please forgive me if I appear confused to you.

EDIT: Anyways, I’m a yes for signing Rudiger. His experience and athleticism make him and big Eric a good fit. Only interested with a Loan to buy, otherwise Chelsea can go ‘whistle Dixie’.

This could very well be a Levy tactic, to test the response / vibes from Inter .... Inter have released statements in recent days saying one thing but inviting or demand more money, they initial wrote not looking to sell but then at the end of the statement they says we've not received a substantial offer anyway .... im sure we've enquired about Rudiger potentially to understand the landscape and all possible viable options. This is probably the last way to test the resolve of Inter Milan and see if we can shave anything off, even if its a little, as atm for all clubs every little counts

I never said more likely to be right. I said he's right to believe it. As well as your right to believe in the investigation.
I'm not saying this investigation is flawed but I know from experience investigations into proving racism have been flawed.

Rudiger believes he was racially abused in our match against him. Even if a 'panel' of people say they couldn't prove it, he still believes it.

I said at the time and I still believe this, he was perfectly entitled to make the accusation and anybody who see's somebody or feels they are being racially abused should report it. However what I did take issue with was once an extremely thorough investigation was completed, he said racism won. That simply wasn't the case and he should have held his hands up and said that maybe he made a mistake or even saying nothing at all would have been better than saying racism won. That's what leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
He said ‘racism won’ only because he got booed for alleging racism. He wouldn’t have said it otherwise.

Just like with Giroud, Chelsea won't deal with us. They'll dangle a tempting offer in front of us to waste our time.

Good night Maxtremist. I enjoyed reading about your opinion.
Sorry to hear racism has affected you in the past, there is no place for racism in sport or society. All the best and enjoy the game on Sunday.

That's simply not true

Rudiger direct quote: "Racism has won. The offenders can always come back to the stadium, which shows these people have won. It's a disaster. "

Why would you want someone at our club who will get to know our players on the training pitch, and the inner workings of our dressing room then take all that knowledge back to Chelsea? This bloke won’t care about Spurs even slightest.

Lets put a mole in the camp who has a grudge against us anyway, who is on the payroll of a owner who dislikes us intensely, how about no.

It would be madness.

What a load of old cobblers.

The investigation concluded that there was “no case to answer”, therefore no charge against the club or ‘offenders’ (as you so dramatically put it).

Fake news like you are posting will besmirch the club and it’s fans, especially since proven unfounded.

Sorry, I should have made this clear, that's a direct quote from Rudiger.

My apologies, I never read that quote, only this, which is very different.

“its sad. I don’t know why they would. Maybe it’s because I voiced about the racism. If you boo me because of that then you are poor people. I am sorry. This is a sign that we have a very big problem. At the end of the day I am alone in this case because I am the one who has to swallow this. With the win it makes me feel a bit like, yes OK, but it makes me feel like it will always be like this. For me, in this case, racism won.”

I wouldn't mind Rudiger if the deal for Skriniar didn't come off. Personally, I have concerns over Dier as CB over a course of a season and believe Rudiger is the better CB. Problem is it looks as though Dier is a favourite of Mourinho's and probably see's him as a starter.

So probably more a question of is Rudiger going to be an upgrade on Toby and Sanchez. Toby is the better defender whereas with Sanchez there may not be that much in it.

I think I'd take him (maybe on a loan) to give us more options at CB. Has more mobility than the like of Toby and Dier and in certain games Mourinho may want that depending on the opposition.

No problem and I'd agree with him if we were booing because he accused us of racism, I'd like to believe that he was being booed for footballing reasons which was that he dived to get our player sent off. Fact is though, what I just said is pure conjecture and so is his.

Weird one, i always thought he was Chelsea's best defender. Tempting to deal if it weakens their defence. Who are they looking at getting in?

I think the reason for the booing is key and we ultimately don’t know. But it’s reasonable that Rudiger assumed that and was upset by it and what it means for racism generally if people can’t allege it freely.

That said, the quote you posted I find less defensible.

Think they are quoting what Rudiger said.
