Son is pretty finished now so we actually need to move on from him. The issue is with our recruitment we will probably sign someone shit to replace him.
We’ve already signed his replacement in Yang. Unless you mean on the pitch rather than merch etc, in which case Daniel Levy is confused by your post. Personally I think Son could still contribute a lot if he was used more judiciously, but either way a forward is way more important this window than Gomes

You got some statistical evidence to back that up?

If the interest is real it makes no sense to wait for the summer to save a few million pounds, not in our current state. Fuck knows what the club is playing at, all very fishy

Yang to me is purely a long shot punt.

Until I see evidence otherwise, we're actively trying not to sign anyone now.

Could be a blessing in the sense that a new coach can choose an attacker to replace before Son becomes a burden.

But as you say.
1. Will we act correctly in getting the right coach or stick with Ange even.
2. Will we even spend that money.
3. Will we even spend it on the right player?

Find out next time.....

Completely agree, I was pointing out we probably signed him as a marketing exercise first and on pitch considerations second
I don't think that's the case, it's a bonus which might have appealed to a certain individual but he's the hottest young property in Korea so there's more to it than that.

you cannot be serious, why and who would do that?
😀
You’re a lot less cynical than I am. Dominating the Korean market is worth a lot more than we’ve spent on Yang, so in financial terms the deal will make sense even if he’s never a big contributor on the pitch as we’ve locked up Son’s heir

As to who would do that, I’ll give you some clues. His first name begins with D and his second with L. If you don’t think financial matters override on pitch value ask yourself why we’re in for Angel Gomes. His profile isn’t what we need (although he’s not a bad player) but he’s free and his wage demands won’t be stratospheric so here we are

... yet! He looked absolutely knackered and very far from he´s energetic self on Sunday. He´s being run to the ground - and through it.

Kulu and Porro are currently risky to play because of the lack of rest og recovery.

This lad is extremely press resistant and he plays forward passes through the lines. Total no brainer signing imo. Our squad needs as many good footballers as possible.

Both great players and if we didn't have Gray and Bergvall would have loved Bouaddi.

Mukau is still a bit raw and only moved there in the summer but would be worth taking a risk on. Other then Baleba there aren't any great 6s and we aren't getting him. Would go for either Mukau or Essugo.
