No idea how good he is but just the kind of player we should be seeking to get before he becomes out of reach. I really hope this window sees some massive upgrades. Will be sad to see some squad players go and maybe even one or two key players but if it means we have to do this to refresh what is becoming stale in order to advance on the pitch then so be it

This is it for me. Whilst we clearly need some more proven quality in the squad (more so than this lad in all likelihood at present) we need to start doing business like this again. Lower fee, younger prospects who add to our younger crop. Worst case we don't lose much, if anything in selling on if they don't quite meet the mark, best case they offer squad cover and a potential first teamer in the longer run.

I appreciate that a) we need to allow our own youngsters to be involved as part of this and b) not lose focus on homegrown options but exceptional young talent needs to be gambled on more regularly.

In regards to this lad, we're clearly looking for attacking, wide options if our ITK and other links are to be believed, we presumably feel we don't have much coming through in these areas as well or are in need of some change in these positions.

Could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that is Robert Skov?
Yeah mate , my post below that one explained it. Wrong Skov, it won’t let me delete the fake news though because I edited the post to post a better quality gif. Anyone know how to delete? (y)

Wrong bloke, should have read properly thought it was Robert Skov:LOL: Please forgive me SC. They’re both Danish and have Skov in their name - thought he was just called Robert because English commentators couldn’t pronounce his name:whistle:

No problem. Robert Skov has a deadly left foot, will go for big cash (for danish clubs) this summer. Has scored 29 goals this season from a winger/midfield position which is incredible.

Andreas Skov Olsen on the other hand, 22 goals & the 2nd highest scorer this season, behind the other Skov, is something else for a 19 year old. I don't think we have ever seen that in the Danish League. He has taken the league by Storm as you say. He's going to be bigger than his somewhat name brother Robert Skov according to many.

I don't watch to much from the Danish League, because it's absolutely shit, but when you can do that it means there's something about this guy.

He's compared to Patrik Schick in terms of technic and pshysical ability and is considered a GEM in scandinavian football. Lyon, Fiorentina and such clubs was after him in the winter.

Here's the official Welcome to Liverpool FC video:

That's what I got on the guy anyways.

Always nice to be linked to Danish players, even though we're pretty bad :smug:

definitely like the idea of trying to pick up young players to supplement the first team. No clue about this lad but from that video he seems to be pretty tall with good feet which is a big plus when you compare to some of the speculative wingers we've tried in recent years. Size and technique are part of the Poch requirements so why not

Just looked at him on transfermarkt and interestingly in the comparable players list is one Marcus Edwards...

Generally compared on price, age and position. Would say it’s a punt worth taking.
