I believe that is the official one. I'm pretty interested to see if he does join as he could be a hidden gem. Makes a change trying to be conned for over the top prices on sometimes okish players.

AvB certainly seems to have greater of knowledge, or better scouting system than we have seen at the Lane in many a year. I have never heard Anas but I had never heard of Henry or Viera befote they were abducted by reg.

Sharbini definitely didn't "fail in the Croatian League." He was without doubt one of the best players. Talent/skill-wise he is right up there. That's never been the problem with him. All to do with his head and inconsistency. Otherwise he'd already be a house-hold name. No question.

The word now is that he may be coming in on a trial, although I have no idea how they'd figure to get a work permit for him. Basically, I won't believe it until I see it.

I agree that the Work Permit seems a problem unless he's managed to get himself one of those dodgy Rodrigo Defendi passports...

If we did sign him, he'd probably spend the rest of the season trying to convince the coaches that he's a potential left-sided replacement for Bale if we take the RM megabucks.

As a flank player cutting in and getting his head up, with great tecnnique, he looks potentially much better than either Dempsey or Siggy (who AVB has been playing in that LM/Niko role).

As you say, he's clearly got ability and a lot depends on his temperament.
